What are the reasons for each suspects?

Oh okay. Yes I agree that 858 is full at CGA T3 coz I experienced it myself (SMB67T). Maybe. But now 858 has an extra bus since you said TIB585L re-permed 858...

Oh. Actually, I prefer OCs to OACs for 858 and other services...

I think that the TIB585L will be redeployed to another service or become spare very soon.
I hope so, maybe too?

I, for now, de-confirm TIB585L being a 858 permer, since it is not running on 858 yesterday and today, so I will re-confirm it after the holidays.

Me too. I am very interested to hear the "Doors are closing" sound when the doors are closing, as well as the strong air-conditioner in the OCs.

That's very good. I hope that TIB585L will be out of 858 permers after the holidays.

I prefer O405s on 858, they could handle the load much better, they are much faster too.

Yes. Me too... Love OCs and Citaros (MAN too). But haven't had chance to sit on Citaro and man...

You are wrong.
From the information given by Sgwiki, Sgbuses and Singapore Buses Wiki, O405 OACs and CACs carries 85 people, while OC500LE carries 90 people. Why did you say that O405s carry more people?

OC can carry 90 ppl provided all move in to the rear... the rear are alway having little ppl standing... how to squeeze 90 ppl?

That is what I feel coz passengers put their baggages on the floor of OCs at the wheelchair area, therefore less ppl can stand there. Whereas on OAC, there are more seats.
Furthermore, I rephrased TIB770T's answer of it can handle load better.
If I am wrong, sorry.

Yes, exactly. PPL like to squeese at the wheelchair bay thr, few ppl want to move to the rear even after the driver repeatedly press the please move to rear recording.
But everytime I sit on OCs and have no seat, I usually stand towards the back of the bus.

Well, OCs are limited to 60kph while O405s, most of their speed limiters are not working.

Choing like hell? What do you mean by that?
I take 858 almost everyday and I like the features in these buses.

I thought it is the driver who tell the members of the public to move to the back when the bus is packed?

Yeap. I love the OCs. Not only on Svc 858.
The SL, aka BC, like to speed. Not only OACs, OCs also....

I don't mind the service leaders speeding.
