Remember SBS has a trial that bus services terminating at current LRT line side along Petir Rd will continue to Pending Rd, Bt Panjang Rd, Gangsa Rd then terminate at Bt Panjang Terminal.

Not forgetting 103 too. Before both 103 and 163 was transferred to TIBS, both are using O405 already, and 103 was using LA too.
Cheers.

Service 163 when terminate at Jln Kayu in the past was all the while under AMDEP (regardless of before Tibs takeover in Dec 1995 and after handed back to SBST in Dec 1999).
It was the route extension from Jln Kayu to Sengkang in late Dec 2002 which made service 163 became full HGDEP, the entire whole fleet from 0405s became Volvo MK3/4 fleets.

If I remembered correctly I did see Volvo MK3s did on service 53 once somewhere in 1998-2000. That was when AMDEP/BRBP had a share of Volvo MK3 buses.
Feeder 261 ever had NAC Volvo MK2 DMs before in 2001.

Yup, service 103 ever had NAC DDs before Tibs took over in Dec 1995, after which DDs never appear on 103 again even after SBST took back in Dec 1999.

Yup, cos when SBST took back 103, it was converted to fully air-con service on the 1st day. I really miss those days when various type of DDs appear on 103; LA, O305 & once even LO3X.
Cheers.

Yes, from Kovan Shopping Center to Serangoon Swimming Pool, total 2 bus-stops. Now only left with 136 still serving there.
Cheers.

If I recall correctly, 25 was the 1st to have MK3 perm in AMK, but not sure whether from AMDEP or not. Subsequently 25 also got LO3X, where at that time should be the 1st service which doesn't passby city area but got perm Superbus.
Cheers.

Yes it is.
Remembered that 195 had Strider and MK2 perms. Anyway, when 195 got full MK3 fleet?

136 and 261 were among the AMK services which had NAC Volvo MK2 perms for a short period of time.

Both services 25 and 26 were under HGDEP in the past if I am not wrong. Remembered these 2 services with 0305s followed by the introduction of Volvo MK3s when converted to PAC.
And I also remembered Volvo MK4 DM on service 26 too in 1995-97. Can't recall when services 25 and 26 went under AMDEP.
Btw was service 157 ever under partial BBDEP in the past? Used to see some Volvo MK3s running on service 157 for a few months only when it was converted to PAC.

Looks nice-they maintained it quite well
Description of the buses at the website:
First out and already moved is VS 243.She Looks well. These are Volvo B57 machines built in New Zealand by New Zealand Motor Bodies and run in Singapore for many years prior to coming to Ireland.
1. February 27, 2004. VS 243 has been collected and is in Ballinlough. This vehicle is one of the better VS and as can be seen from the photographs looks super. All of these were originally built by New Zealand Motor Bodies on Volvo B57 chassis and went to Singapore for service. Bus Eireann bought them from Singapore and over 300 have ended up in Ireland.
They are wickedly noisy beasts, desperate things to drive and you need ear muffs. However they are fully automatic and while the steering claims to be power steering any resemblance is generally coincidental.
Photos are from this website:
Oh, these are great pictures of the mighty old Volvo B57s. Thanks for sharing.
sbs old bus Berliet PGK205 in the 70 and early 80 it use to appear on some toa payoh feeder bus service 232, 231 and 235 also sometime on 152,143,148 and 153 in the early 80s for 2 years before it scrapped. There is one automatic one appeared on 235 and 145 and a wide door one appeared on 143 before.
It a very noisy bus. I think service 20 withdraw in the late 70 and most Berliet PGK205 put on toa payoh bus serivces before they retired.
