The bus looks good.
It seems like interior is same as the Scania.
oh and whats up with so many BCs inside the bus.

Can't wait for the Wright B9's to come out though.
Something is wrong with bus companies these days.
The SBST crowd has too many Scanias, the SMRT crowd has too many Mercs. ZZZ.
SBST shouldn't have declined the OC500 offer... At least inject some variety into the fleet.

Considering SBS has the largest fleet of Scania K-series buses in the world, it is a far cry from 1996 when Scania N113s made up less than 5% of the fleet, which the Straits Times listed as 60% Volvo and 35% Merc.
As for SMB, they shoudl seriously consider the Volvo B9Ls and MAN NG313s.

First of all, thanks to service_238 for allowing us to have a preview of the bus. : ) When i first looked at the photo, i thought this bus looked cool and badass but not refreshing. To the common public to see this DD for the first time, they might be thinking "ooohhhh, SBS go buy double deck version of the new buses that have been roaming the roads lately" I tried to peek into the interior from this pic and observed: 1.) Rear window is smaller than that of the B9s 2.) Air con ducts look similar to those of the KUBs 3.) Same boring brownish interior base colour 4.) Seating arrangement on lower deck seems similar to the VO3x

Nice bus but torque is too low for a sub 24 ton DD,1050nm?Should be 1200nm at least for DD unless there's no speed limiter.Sooner gonna be like VO3x batch 2 & 3,Sluggish

sbs 7000e was a good bus it much better then some air-con DD. it nice to see another scania DD on the road. that place is HG deport main gate by the way. look like BCs are testing the new bus.

Lol...What a big change just from 7000E to 7888K.And, seems like last time Scania front rims are the same as Mercs and MAN.

The nut guards can be used on almost any manufacturer. If they want to install them on Hinos and Nissans, they can, but they don't.

Is it true that removing the rim guards facilitates better maintanence of the wheels? i.e. When servicing the wheel they do not need to have to remove the rim guards and put it back on later again. -

something like that. like they save man X time = work without needing to remove the rim guards. It takes quite an effort to remove the guard, much less put it on. -
