Because it displays 2 designs from 2 eras.
The sloping front with angular designs.
SC's B7RLE takes the cake though.
Gemilang's K-series look conservative as a comparison.![]()

True... Steering components are more breakable than just a solid steel axle.
Not outright because of that, but rather there are more components with a steerable axle than a fixed one... Just like a 'front axle' have a lesser loading capacity than a 'rear axle', in terms of vehicles like the O405 or O530.
A vehicle that has a larger capacity steerable axle would be mid-engined vehicles like the B10/12M. Engine weight tends to shift forwards especially when braking and hence the front axle has to cover more weight than a conventional rear engined vehicle.
Trucks have the most versatile loading axles, all axles are designed to support large amount of weight.

lower fares and a 50/50 chance to fall and hurt yourself when the bus moves off.
pls complain this to the company. Some drivers skills are just sucks when driving the new bus. 1) Don't want to move off in properly procedure but just let the door close and move off. 2) Why jam the brakes when it should be brakes smoothly.
I had seen drivers able to drive smoothly when they drives KUB, LO3x, VO3x and MB 0405.

Oh well fuck it, I HAVE a biased opinion, whatever.
But I think I prefer 9888 to this Scania crap.
Let's have more solid Australian metal than rattly Asian plastic.
come on la, give u new bus to replace still want to choose. Why not transfer VO2x ? I am rather sure if it is not the fire incident, this new bus will nt be in am/br.

does amdep operate any NAC service currently? so do you think amdep needs VO2X then?

Gemilang have license-built Volgren bodies and that is where they inherit the technology from. Volgren bodies are very prone to rattling and body roll so I personally would not consider it as "solid" at all.

it can be done.. Just like what I heard some elderly in hong kong wants the non-aircon bus to stay on service..

True. Try taking the Volvo B10BLE diesel with volgren body.... I hate the rattling sound that it produces.... Might be better with a Gemilang body.
i prefer volgren over gemi-lan hands down.

But in terms of build quality, its still the Volgren that comes out tops.

The B7R a bit weird. The body looks tall, the wheels look friggin small. And I think the original Volvo steel rims look nicer.

Just cant understand why sbs always like to choose ALCOA rims instead of the original volvo and scania rims... And it would look more 'original' with rim guards or rim covers on...

Give us new buses, but at least give us buses that are of a good quality. We are the one paying for the taxes and bus fares, so we have every right to have an opinion.
That's what this forum is all about.
