  You underestimate the KUBs....151's KUBs climb the hills at NUS pretty well. But IMO, the eye-opener must be the B9TL. The B9TL climbs faster than say....the MKIIIs and the MKIV DMs. In fact, its the MKIV DMs (the ZF ones) that struggle more than the MKIIIs. The Voith MKIV DMs are marginally faster than the MKIIIs.

  The one I cannot trust to climb these hills would be the VOs. Fortunately none has passed through that area....yet. At least as far as I know.

  IMO, the one that has the least difficulty for the NUS services would be the MKIV DM3500.....really no sweat.

  what is it about the ZF-ed dm mark iv's that makes them so sluggish compared to their voith counterparts and WA brethren? lol

  The MKIV DMs seem to be using the THD101 rather than the THD102.

  The anomalies would have to be the Voithed MKIV DMs....they're surprisingly fast uphill. Closer in performance to the MKIV DM3500....but still not quite there though.

  voithed dm's are very scarily fast.

  I can never forget 892T along buangkok MRT on sv.27 after it underwent repairs.

  ITS SO VERY VERY VERY VERY FAST DAMMIT.

   

  then again, DM3500's are another can of win.
  pre-BN 2811 was very fast too. its acceleration makes you wanna divide by zero.

  i think volvos have natural affinity with voith :)
