They've (ntu perhaps) created a temporary roof to just cover the back of the top of the bus to protect the fuel cell stacks and exhaust system from the weather. Its detachable, but it takes time to take it down as its not that easy to reach over 3 meters to remove it.
The "roof" was taken down when i saw it today, and was placed to the side of the refueling equipment.
take sv179 from bnl int or outside pioneer mrt stn.

And get off on the 2nd stop after it turns left and starts climbing a very steep hill.

No. Unless there is official sources or pictures to proof. Anyway, heard that the 2 Sunlongs are quite expensive to maintain for SBST.One question.
I remembered that there was a Scania N113CRB with ALOCA rims. Is it a trial by SBST at that time to test out the feasibility of mass using ALOCA rims for the future???
And what is the difference between the Scania K series and N series???
K and N series have different engine placements:
K: Vertically mounted engine mounted longitudinally
N: Vertically mounted engine mounted transversely
Is SBS8676Z still with perm HGDEP 163??
Noticed that this bus keeps running around these days, last 2 days on service 27.

Splits love to run around, So don't be surprised if you see SBS8676Z running around on other services.
Best if you go by sticker, can't give any comments above than this

Can i ask why are the Euro V KUBs quite a number of them, regardless of front or back doors or even both has lots of air used when opening and / or closing... while some is totally quiet...??

Damn wasted lor. Should use it la.
Yea, i feel the same too, but then again its property of ntu and not sbst. sbst will only staff the bus (provide a bc) if ntu decide to let it go on revenue service.

Most doors should be using pneumatic cylinders to open and close the doors, the cylinders contains gases (or air) which is compressed when the door opens. When the door closes, the compressed gas is uncompressed and the door closes. This is why there is a "air" sound when the door opens and closes.
On the other hand, if it is totally quiet, there could be two reason. One being the gas in the cylinder is low, and therefore the air pressure is lower and thus do not make the "air" sound when door opens or closes. The other more possible reason is that the door uses electric motors instead of pneumatic (such as the habits).

1.5 hr to 2 hr max.
Does anyone here knows whether SMRT new buses like Citaro, MAN and even OCs have a wider witdth compared to SBST KUBs? This is because SMRT can put at least about 6 additional seats at the PIW area.

The KUBs exactly just as wide as the OCs, Citaro and MAN.
Originally posted by eX.A.K.R.:Can anyone post the exact timings of route 855’s Mercedes Citaro when it leaves Yishun Interchange? Also, is the MAN already a permanent bus on route 961, and if so, what are the timings when it departs Woodlands?
I tried catching either bus today with no success.
Citaro, if I'm not wrong, it has no specific perm slot, only perming on 855.
For the MAN, it's, for now, a spare bus.
Can anyone confirm the status of SBS9182A?!
It cannot be laid up as stated in Buses SGwiki as i have seen it many times on the road on AM DD services and it was running on Premium 548 today.
