Works would have to be carried out at Lim chu kang road end for a bendy to do a u-turn.
It's pretty tight or just nice for Punggol Rd.. Dun get into illegal parking cases

Most common weight restriction usually applies at U-turns.
For South Buona Vista Rd, anything of unladen weight > 2500kg cannot enter. That's as good as Y plate (Those longer lorries), X plate, buses and trailers are not supposed to use the road.
Originally posted by Bus Stopping:191, 84 can be considered low demand, but definately not ultra-low. Most of the time, there's still at least a few pax onboard. This is the same as 882.
As for the kranji farms, most of the passengers onboard the shuttle are just the staff working at the farms. Would it be justifiable for the rest of the commuters to subsidise the cost of running an additional service there? And no, tax money does not go into public transport, at least until the 1.1billion is poured in.
Last of all, extending 925 or 975 is not an option, as the roads there are too narrow to drive a 12m long 2.5m wide bus safely.
Oh ok, thx. Not too sure about 84, but 191 still seems like a loss making service to me. 5 ppl per trip = less than $5 revenue per round? Not even enough to cover fuel.
I believe u can generate the demand. Maybe link it to LCK road end or Boon Lay via neo tiew road for example, gives people a option to woodlands MRT. Makes use of main roads also, so 12m buses can pass.

I not really referring to the article lah, just referring to the idea of a bus service to Kranji farms. I rmb reading another forum article abt workers who walk 1 hr everyday to reach the MRT after 925 ends. Just felt that it is crazy that this happens in singapore. At the very least they should extend 925 operation time.
SBST operates the Tuas industrial estate buses till near midnight. So I guess the demand for buses in Sungei Kadut industrial estate late at night is also there.
When did svc 7 become full BBDEP & when did svc 63 become full BRBP?
191 not much ppl take de.

if you notice the last buses for the JIS 192 193 182, the last buses will arrive back boon lay int before 0020 so that pax can transfer to last bus 30/154, other than the feeders.Originally posted by tvcnq:I not really referring to the article lah, just referring to the idea of a bus service to Kranji farms. I believe that services like 35, 84, 91, 182, 191, 200, 882, 925, 975 etc exists for a reason to provide a direct link to certain destinations. Though it is a low demand service, there are still pax who needs to get to places like LCK, Sembawang Park, Sungei Kadut, Tuas South etc.

Yes, thats right. Most of the services you mentioned plies between a major hub to a less popular area. However, the concern is whether bus services should be provided to farms in the LCK area. This is also the similar with farms in Pasir Ris area.
Hi some more questions...
1. Do BCs (from SBST and SMRTB) park their own buses when they return to the depot? Or parking attendents handle it?
2. What is the purpose of perm stickers? I believe their system has a record of which bus is deployed to which service, why still need stickers on the bus?
3. Do SBST practice overnight parking at their bus interchanges/terminals? If yes, which bus interchanges/terminals? And how do they select which buses to overnight park outside of their depots? Is there a fixed list of buses that park overnight at bus interchanges/depot?
Imo, Boon lay interchange is a great place for overnight parking.

By right 83 should start from Sengkang and loop at Punggol Rd(End) and 84 Punggol looping at Punggol East

If 83 were to amend like that, then 84 is no longer needed already.

Thats the reason why SBST did NOT keep SBS998Y and SBS999U...
Later let it become broom sweep all the people and cars off the road and pavements already...

The lower grills are for the radiator. The ducting above with a mesh grill/filter is for air intake.
Also, on the citaros, the air intake is at the topmost area of the kerbside.

By the way, does anyone know where I can download this VSO for Midtown Madness 2?
Link the the video is here (The VSO is actually SBS9842D and bears the Drypers ad in the video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZDoecNkH44
The author said that he downloaded it from a community page, but never gave the link. The author of this VSO is s3n226 and he gave this as a Christmas Present in 2011.
Why do some OC500LEs such as SMB66X and SMB103Y door speakers are being covered with tapes?

For SMRT, If I am not wrong it should be the drivers unless stated.
Unless the bus should go for preventive maintenance or other misc it's the bc/SL that park the bus after bus wash. The driver only follow the attendant instruction where to park the bus.Ok btw there's a new feeder bus from Telok Blangah loop at Telok Blangah estate right? When does it start?
