But 9091D currently has the Army ad, unlikely to have expired yet.

High chance the rest from 9091 to 9199 will have their lifespan extension unless Wrights come in 1 batch of 20 buses which is very impossible......

Oh, no wonder 9032A cameoed on ex-perm 157 last week. Unsure the other days though.

Just pray that they will be extended. Wrights need weeks to assemble, at least 3 weeks.
9097M today doing 133. Meaning there might be a possibility that there is a lifespan extension... But, do keep in mind that SBST wont use finish the lifespan of the extended LOs.. Rmb what happened to 9000~9009 batch? They were extended at first. And then MIA later on..
the batch from SBS9091D to SBS9110H are extended by 2 years to 2013 except for 9096/9098/9103/9104/9106/9110.
LTA most likely expand the lifespan for the balance LO3x by 2 years as well, as the Wright are coming in slowly and there is a need to keep the Lo3x (since they are only 17yd) as there are more than 50 mercs that need to be go off by this year...

There had 200 LO3xs initially, SBST had ordered 150 Wrights earlier on. So, might be very hard to get the other 50 DDs (maybe Wright Batch 2 again) to replace the rest of 50 LO3xs.
Very Luan leh... Can have a proper list or not... Hmph...
What SLBP is doing now??? Give up some of unextended batch. Furthermore they are already facing shortage of spare DDs despite of having NTU schedule now.

the batch from 9000 to 9090 will be gone case latest by march 2011...maybe around 100 Lox3 will get extension for 2 years. that mean SBST have to build and registered at least 90 new Wright B9 by that time....
and by 1st April, the batch of Merc from SBS479 to SBS523 will be gone (around 35 merc)... mean SBST need to registered maybe another 20+ B9 to replace these merc by then... alternatively, other depots will have to temp transfer MK 3/4 over to SLBP/AMDEP if the B9 are not being registered in time to replace these merc/lo3x.

VO3x also. BBDEP, HGDEP have loads of spare VOs.

that why now they take in so many Wright B9 mah... 19 to be exact.... although they send 21 Lo3x to scrapyard (9000 to 9021 + 9098/9103/9104/9106/9110)... new buses is of course than old buses mah...

AMDEP only got 9047/9057? plus maybe 2-4 more from Sv22..

The Starter pro leh.. Morning busy like siao. Actually, they can easy take DD from the JIS service and replace them with VO2x, so still can play around..

JIS is left w/ only 1 LO3x or VO3x per service. How much do you want to remove?
Somemore all are like long haul routes. Want to touch, touch those short distance 241.
Kns, take for only 2km, no one wants to move to upper deck. Waste buses and still complain cannot board
Morning 254, 255 nong queue and for 255, chaos at PNR still gets VO2x.

How about 193? Because of shortage of spare merczs, 539P 546T keep on cameoing on other services.

If u were to notice, short distance svc DD alrdy being taken out occasionally. 241, 179 affected.
I dun really see flooding incident at the lower deck or ppl refuse to move to upper deck in the morning peak. This happens to 240 & 243 more ba..

But Citaros may come in by then.

193 is a bit special cos SBS does deploy a stable SD fleet for it.
loading wise, I think majority peak hr trips can handle

you go take a look yourself
Each and every time I go observe 241, never to fail to see empty upper deck, the lower rear empty, ppl rather squeeze at the driver cabin side.
Elsewhere like 170 or 179 ppl gotta queue for 2 - 4 buses, here dun want to move in

SBST should send some personnel to tell these people to move up for the benefit of others. Singaporeans are just plain lazy to just even climb a small flight of steps, yet still complaining crowding buses... ![]()
