Along AMK Avenue 9? What time?

Hi Darryl I saw the bus at 0655 today. The bus I was taking stopped at the junction and as I was sitting by the window, I was able to see the entire front quite clearly as there was sufficient light.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Along AMK Avenue 9? What time?

SBS 9847 R on Svc 161
SBS 9848 on Svc 168
SBS 9849 on Svc 168.
I think 9843B is on scv 161 now that SBS decides to remove the VSO bus from 55 fleet . -
Bus 9846 broke down today at WL interchange because of engine problem . The bus driver paniced quite a bit because he is new to the bus and told me that the power is totally off , he couldnt even start the bus .

The bus was later covered by SBS 9832 H till 11 plus. I wonder how is the VSO fleet doing today, i gonna checked it out later , may have a bit of spare time . -
If the power is totally off, that means the battery has gone flat. Not suprising. I think my fav Svc 133 does have 3 VSOs. Darryl told me that he saw SBS9839R. Charles & Fs spotted SBS9840J, and I have sat on SBS9841G! Wah hoo! I love Volvo Super Olympian!

9835 op for bus 31 today is a bus service 72's bus . -
SBS 9840J broke down at Jack's house! The rear plug door could not be closed, and everyone had to alight and take the next bus. I'm going to write a letter to SBST about this, although it's not the first time for me(SBS 9800A broke down on me too!)

This VSO FAILED ME! Sigh! Why? Perhaps today isn't a Good Friday, but a 'Bad' Friday!

SBS 9846 T took me from Bedok to Woodlands Regional Interchange in less than 45 minutes. That was fast!

Acutually I do agree that SBS9842D is a better VSO. It's not as bad as the one on 9843B that we(HaoRui, Darryl, Me) took on 161 today.

Do you guys think there will be more VSOs on the roads ?
I do think so because the current number is definately not enough to cover all the retirements of LO 2 Axles buses . Like what the bus instructor has said they ordered 90 VSO buses , i think that is a big possibility now and if that is true , I can see the likes of 157 , not too sure about 166 getting VSO buses . I hope the west side will get more of the VSO buses through . -

i saw a driver of habit 61 do that before. stop the bus, press something at the door
manually pull the dorr in, then continued driving.

Think that's the release the air that is used to close the door when the buttons are pressed. Like at all terminals and interchanges, the drivers open and close the doors manually. I took 9836 today , the suspension of the bus i not good , a lot of funny noises .
I still have one more left !!! 9837 !! I didnt see this bus on bus 70 today , anyone knows which service is this bus normally on ? Is it 70 ?
By the way , I can comfirmed with you , 9836 is a bus 72 bus , i saw the sticker just above the driver's window . -
