You left out Service 87.Originally posted by off_service:Simply because 9888Y is from HGDEP, and service 7 is the only double deck service in Bedok from HGDEP.
Sv. 87 is now controlled SOLELY by BNDEP, after Sv. 27 was extended to Sengkang and then Hougang(correct me, I know Hougang is correct)Originally posted by Superbus:You left out Service 87.
Cheers and warm regards
SBST is strange in many ways, Tranquilice, you'll know when you have to deal with them like many of us have.Originally posted by tranquilice:Yes, service 87 has been transferred to Bedok North Depot, but I don't know why service 7 does not belong to Bedok North Depot. (A Bedok - Clementi service being controlled by Hougang Depot is so strange!)
They went around asking SBST staff, many of them confirmed there will be 40 more of them.Originally posted by PT21:Hi ZYX,
How do you know that there will be another 40 new VSOs?
Where did you you get the informatiom from?

Can elaborate about the accident?Originally posted by off_service:Today SBS 9845 X (service 161) met with an unfortunate accident. The bus is still in working condition, but the rear side is scratched into an ugly manner.
All I know is a van kinda crash into the rear. I'm not at the scene of accident. But I do see the bus drove into WRI.Originally posted by tranquilice:Can elaborate about the accident?
With a huge dent at the engine cover, I suppose? SBST won't do a thing and it will be left in this state.Originally posted by off_service:All I know is a van kinda crash into the rear. I'm not at the scene of accident. But I do see the bus drove into WRI.
I stand corrected, today I saw SBS 9845X on Sv. 25 and there was hardly a ding on it.Originally posted by SBS9818A:With a huge dent at the engine cover, I suppose? SBST won't do a thing and it will be left in this state.
I believe this batch of new double-decks are for Central District, then 3-axle LOs can be transferred to SLBP.Originally posted by SBS9816E:Regarding about new VSOs coming out, I suppose that some units of the new ones would go to Braddell Depot, and others go to the west.
I beg to differ. VSOs on service 161 are still operating as usual during weekday peak hours but not 168's. SBST seems to be "pampering" Hougang / Sengkang more than any other places.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:SO i guess other VSOs that are not in service with 161 and 168 are going around , perhaps to future VSO operators like 157 or 88 .
Sweetener for the residents before several services get withdrawn, isn't it? Damn obvious really. Giving them new buses, and then few months later withdraw routes.Originally posted by off_service:I beg to differ. I think the next 40 vsos will go to the west and the central district as none of their depots have new buses like the tridents or the vsos.Originally posted by SBS9816E:Regarding about new VSOs coming out, I suppose that some units of the new ones would go to Braddell Depot, and others go to the west.
