Some air conditionings are climate controlled (auto) or there's only one switch so it's impossible to adjust the air conditioning. It's either hot or cold.Originally posted by cHeR|sH^LoVe:ehz.... air con dun so cold can?? esp double deck..
It's quite understandable for passengers requesting for higher bus frequencies as I am also looking forward to that. However, buses tend to be held back at roads with high loads. Just take a look at service 170, there's 50 buses on the fleet but the jam at causeway are always holding the buses back.Originally posted by SBS9816E:Higher bus frequency is what I always want. One example would be waiting Svc 105 in the rain for the whole DAMN 1 hr and 10 mins!
Pt 2: I hope that buses can be clean, for both interior and exterior of the bus.
Basically 135 desperately needs D/D, especially at peak hours!!!Originally posted by xin1jun2:well there is many improvements they cna make
for example
MORE LOW FLOOR BUSES
buses need to be fitted with Next bus stop announcement / displays
Buses need GPS to help bus schduling help bus keep to times
and get rid of that EZ-link card system....it just plain copies the hong kong octopus card system
More bendybuses on certain routes like 969 and 961
Superbus on 174 pls
superbus on 130, 135 and 136 also pls
ZYX
yah lor ..Originally posted by FireIce:would like to highlight the way bus captains drive........sometimes they like to keep braking.....makes us sitting and standing passengers jerk all the time.....kinda irritating, esp when the bus is quite crowded.......

who do they think the passengers are?
MotherFucking MIDGETS!?
I always have problems sitting on the older non-aircon double deckers. I dont know who they based their seats on.
Hmm, looking through this situation, I feel that SBS does not really thought of it. The best way to solve this problem is to give them a feedback.Originally posted by gasband:I think they need to do some market and customer surveys.
For example, i use to take Bus 30 a few months ago to my school in Pasir Panjang. I realise that when i go to school from Bedok Interchange at ard like 2pm, they use a air con double decker bus when the journey sees the bus rarely filled. Then when it was peak hour around 5 plus, i actually see at Pasir Panjang, 2 consecutive single deck bus coming in the space of 20 minutes. It was FILLED to the BRIM!
So, if SBS had did some customer surveys. They would realise it is better for the customers to use a single deck at 2pm where passengers are fewer and double deck during peak.
Anyway, they say charge more increase service. Guess what? They change the feeder bus route at my flat in simei. Now, I have to walk 10 minutes to get to the feeder bus stop instead of the usual 5 minutes. Better service? Darn right.
Nope , bus 38 takes over the routes of 290 and 220 , the reason for this ? because SBS can make more $$ . Passengers has to pay full fare instead of feeder service fare , you think about it .Originally posted by SBS9816E:Hmm, looking through this situation, I feel that SBS does not really thought of it. I am sure that the feeder service that used to go to Simei is 290 right? Right now, Svc 38 is overtaking Svc 290. This is quite 'bad' actually.
Sometimes the way bus companies make amendments to services are to make free resources (i.e. buses) and make sure their profit margins won't fall. Furthermore, they would consider "alternative" services for passengers in the affect route, like walking to take other services.Originally posted by gasband:I think they need to do some market and customer surveys.

Oh yes. I have forgotten that Svc 38 covers part of route 220. The reason you have given sounds logical.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:Nope , bus 38 takes over the routes of 290 and 220 , the reason for this ? because SBS can make more $$ .
