  I am uncertain if Svc 80 is going to permanent Dennis tridents. However, it might be possible as it's 'brothers' like Svc 85 and Express 502 have Tridents.

  Sorry to disappoint you, Fang Sheng and Charles, but Tridents are East District buses and will not make appearances on Sv. 166 as it is controlled by the Central District Route Group.

  There has been bus transfers lately and after the introduction of the MRT , there may be a chance Hougang south depot transfer the Tridents to AMK Depot . We will see what happens after NE line opens .

  Tridents would go to other East District services and not change depots. It would not be feasible to transfer all the equipment needed for mx and such to AMK just for the Tridents.

  I think that Svc 85 will not be withdrawn, it will be just like another Svc 2 (duplicate of route from Chinatown to Tanah Merah MRT), if Svc 85 is withdrawn, then there will not be anymore direct link (eg. from Great World City to HarbourFront and vice versa.)
