Its not that they dont want to drive fast , its that they scared to get into trouble if they overspeed .Originally posted by Parka:Sometimes even when the road is empty, the bus driver also don't want to drive faster. Kaoz.

I have sat on Very slow TIbs buses before , yah Tibs drivers drive faster but some of the buses like DAF has this speed limit lock , the bus can only drive to 60 , no faster then that .Originally posted by Parka:Comparing Tibs and SBS, I think Tibs buses are relatively faster.
The thing about over speed...hmmm...
Sometimes I feel that they are just driving too slowly. Way below the speed limit. Makes the journey more boring as a result.
Strange. The DAFs on service 852 and 989 (TIB 701, long time ago) was speeding away. Wonder why the driver say it "cannot go fast".Originally posted by SBS9818A:Charles, according to a TIBS driver we asked, the DAFs are SLOOOOW European rural buses and "cannot go fast". Whenever I take Sv. 989, the O405 goes very fast, making it seem like it's not speed limited.
Ohhh , that is strange .Originally posted by off_service:Strange. The DAFs on service 852 and 989 (TIB 701, long time ago) was speeding away. Wonder why the driver say it "cannot go fast".
I do agree with you Windy. Also, SBST configures the settings of the VSOs engines and therefore they couldn't be driven at rather high speed. As for the DAFs, I thought that the newer DAFs could run quite fast.Originally posted by Windy_hates_B10TLs:Howdy there, All!
What are all of your thoughts on the governing of the speed of the bus, and the speed limit of 60km/h?
I also find that the gearboxes don't even have a chance to get into top gear, due to the low speed, and the engine wear would be savage on these buses. Also, the engines rev pretty high, clouding out the hub reduction on the O.405s![]()
No. It is an opinion, and not a terrorist threat.Originally posted by off_service:Excuse me windy, please remove the burn VSO signature. It is a very unpleasant phrase to be used. SOunds like terrorist to me.
It does depend on the shedule that the driver has. If they are running early, then they need to slow down. At the same time, if the timings are generous, then there is no need to speed. However, you'd think that they would go faster, knowing that there will always be another bus close behind, and they can get a longer break at the terminusOriginally posted by Parka:Sometimes I feel that they are just driving too slowly. Windy, this is the last warning. Please take away your "Burn VSO" signature.Originally posted by Windy_hates_B10TLs:No. It is an opinion, and not a terrorist threat.
I'd very much like to see them all in a paddock somewhere, burnt. What is wrong with saying that?
if you don't like it, don't read it.
In my opinion, Bendy Buses are faster.Originally posted by oliver_yuen87:i took DAF 852.. really speeding!Tibs bus are fastre than SBS bus, i think. HK buses like Dennis Trident go at 70-80kmh on expressways
superbus or bendy bus accerlerates faster?
He can express his dislike of VSOs in other manners, why choose burning it?Originally posted by SBS9818A:Fang Sheng, I see no problem with Windy's signature. He wants to express his opinion that he dislikes VSOs, and since this is a forum where freedom of expression is allowed, the signature should remain.
