These services are there for a long time already, started by SBS on 190 years ago. Sometimes i see 2-3 bendy buses operating on 190 service in Orchard !!

I would say that 851 has a high frequency also. 74 has also high frequency, and its VO 2-axle and VO 3-axle bus fleet which comes every 5 minutes reminds me of SBS 190 before it was converted to fully air-con.
In that case, why did Tibs still keep 700, esp. 700A? 700A plies almost the same route as 190. They can transfer the buses to 190 instead -

Service 851 always jam, thus making waiting difficult. Service 74, never ever take after Ngee Ann Poly in afternoon peak and before Ang Mo Kio MRT in morning peak. Cannot board the bus. Also, service 74 has much lesser VO 3 axle.

Yes, the demand for Sv. 190 is very high. I remember when TIBS first got hold of Sv. 190, passengers were complaining that they could not get on, so TIBS had to deploy 2 buses at one go(be it 2 bendys or 1 bendy and 1 normal). Even when SBST were operating Sv. 190 they already had problems with the enormous amount of passengers. 36? very frequent. But there was one time i got very pissed off when i got on a crowded bus, the driver stopped at MArina Ter for toilet, and an empty 36 passed by!!!!! Another time was at the Changi Ter, i gave the Mk4 in front a miss, coz i was waiting for the Volvo B10BLE 1688 parked behind it. The driver started the bus, then when a Mk3 came along behind, she said board the Mk3 instead!! argh -

Have to wait very long for Svc 36 if you are boarding it along Amber Rd/Marine Parade going to the airport on weekends. Btw, I observed Svc 36 does not like to stop at East Coast Park car park F3. Cos if the driver sees nobody alighting and nobody at the bus-stop, they will not turn in to car park F3.
