  I still like Tibs MB O405 speeding noise.. the high-pitched woo... rather than Volvo Mk4s, those with pink seats, dun have that kind of high-speed noise. too quiet

  I noticed some of the mark 4 27XX -28XX series , some of the engines vibrate a lot and sound terribe , the striders doesnt have much of these problems .

  This i agree. That time I took this dm mark 4.. whoa... the aircon is terrible.. and the engine sound is worse! Also... mark 4 dm buses have the tendency of "shaking" itself when stationary... saw this svc 88 bus shaking it's @$$ away at the traffic light!

  You mean you like the hub reduction noise? FYI, all O405s have hub reduction while the B10Ms don't. There are three types of Mk IVs, one with Duple Metsec body, one with Alexander Strider body and one with Duple Metsec DM3500 body.

  That is not so bad , the Lance 211 is much worse , especially if you sit at the back . The engine sounds terrifying ... My friend who is not a bus fan has sworn not to take that bus again .

  Those Striders with DM 3500 body are rather good! Some good examples like SBS 2758D or SBS 2753Z! When they speed along PIE towards Toa Payoh, its engine sound can be as quite as a Volvo S80!
