Svc 134 used to ply from Ang Mo Kio to New Bridge Rd Terminal, and later shortened its route to Bishan.
In 1993, Svc 104 & 134 integrate to become new Svc 54. Svc 54 maintain the link of former Svc 134 from Bishan to Thomson and former Svc 104 from New Bridge Rd to Thomson. New Svc 156 maintain the link of former Svc 104 from Serangoon to Bishan.

I think service 134 had served AMK for quite sometime before amended to terminate at Bishan Int. I'm a regular patron of service 134 when it was serving AMK. Svc 850 & 851 cover different routes. Svc 850 via Yishun Ave 2, Lentor Ave, AMK Ave 6, Marymount Rd, Thomson Rd, Newton Rd, Scotts Rd, Orchard Rd, Bras Basah Rd, Connaught Dr, Shenton Way, Cantonment Rd & Jln Bt Merah.
