I know that Svc 85 is the only Svc that links Upper Serangoon Rd to Great World City. If this service is withdrawn, I think Gr8 World City will suffer a loss! Also, this is the only svc that passes thru Tiong Bahru, with the ignorance of Tiong Bahru MRT Stn. My view is if this service is withdrawn, there wouldn't be a direct svc to Tiong Bahru from Upp Serangoon Rd. I hope that the svc would either remain, or to be integrated with other svc.

i thinking 865 (85) because the bus was introduced to sengkang to please the residents with a link to rochard. now that the MRT will give them a faster link to orchard. the bus service would lose its function.
at any rate i agree sbst will try to keep a bus service to provide inter MRT stations links.
