the engine will lose power and performance will be sluggish, much like 8030L when it is deprived of adblue.

the engine will lose power to compensate for the emission. the engine will not work as hard, such that it produces lesser emmision.

I've heard them on 7505, manage to locate it to under the last row of seats on the upper deck. I believe I saw sparks too, but I'm not really sure.
EDIT: To add on, I saw it slightly to the right (when facing toward the rear of the bus), approximately behind the seat nearer to the corridor.
Spotted 7505R today around 6.50am near Paya Lebar Rd.

Such sparks can be heard since the buses in the 1990s, especially the Volvo B10M MK4s. They come from the Sutrak air con units.
So does these Wrights use Sutrak air conditioning?

It ranges from every 5 seconds to every minute.
isit due to static?
Today on the last trip for SBS7505R.
Upon last trip on service 60, the EDS for front side and back changed to service 63. I was like . Thought can go for a second trip on the Wright bus. In the end, it went Off Service.
Double deckers making a come back on 63???

I thought the next 2 Wrights are assigned to Ang Mo Kio depot???
Well, many are talking about the sparks and "piakking" sounds created by the A/C on Wright B9.... The main reason is this, when a A/C unit is new, there would be sparks and static sounds produced, as the A/C unit might also improve air quality by eliminating germs in the air.... It's common.... 7888K also had this syndrome before... But now, no more...

Indeed deploy 2 Wrights on 70! That's a "Leighman Brothers" investment!
