It's a pity. EURO 4 double decker is better than EURO 4 single deckers. ![]()

But we won't be able to buy Euro 4 buses anymore.
I want SBS Transit to buy 650 more B9TL Wrights then, if not, choose others.

He's really a clone. We knew it because of his tone.

I think the min LTA standard for diesel vehicles is still Euro 4, but the bus operators opted for Euro 5 standard to get one step ahead for the environment. Volvo DDs are so far so good, except the B9TL euro 3 buses. I wonder why SBST did not consider buying some Dennis buses as I find them quite good in HK.
Now I dun mind SBST bring in more KUD instead.
Cheers.

I rather SBST gets more B9TL or Alexander Dennis Enviro 500.

What about B5L Hybrid?
What is the deal with Euro III? Why did Asia-Pacific nations jump straight to Euro IV from Euro II?
A side note, the HK Tridents are Euro III aren't they? Ditto for the Volvo B10BLE and Scania L94UA.

From cameo spotting pg
7538, 7550, 7551, 7553
saw 7553 cameoing on 95 at central library around 5.35pm today
At least 2 on 95 today.
So whoever who said the YIH bridge would not have allowed 95 to have DDs will have to eat their words.![]()
Sighted as well: 2 folks who parked their car illegally at the bus-stop outside Kent Ridge Ter to take pic of the 95 DDs.
PS: I was soooooo disappointed to see the EDS flash 95 when the bus started up. Thought it was for 151. damn!
All taken today:
SBS 7538X On Service 095

SBS 7551G On Service 095

SBS 7553B On Service 095

Its not the YIH Bridge that had prevented DDs from clearing.
Saw SBS7577H at AMDEP near ex SSDC

Great Shots !!! Hope its not a test run but hopefully wrights can make its way to svc 95. Svc 95 needs at least 3 DD during peak and it will be welcome addition to the fleet of svc 95. I remember missing 2 svc 95 buses(bus overloaded) at about 5pm before i barely hop on(by standing on the steps of the volvo mark III) !! 95B from NUH.. Hope SBST can seriously consider putting these wrights perm on svc 95. Maybe the next test run for these wrights will be on svc 96, i will be glad and relieve !!!

So the rest of 755X and 756X are skipped to start from 7577 onwards?

no.... not skipped.. most likely going other depots..

Then where was the problem that prevented 95 from having DDs? Trees along Lower Kent Ridge Rd?
But if anyone takes the Wrights and approaches YIH from the roundabout it really looks for a few moments that the DD isn't going to clear the bridge. And even as the bus passes the bridge the roof is really really close to the bridge.
