unfortuantely i hae no idea which "that's fast." you were quoting so I have no idea how to respond to that :(

??! 7578E replace 9389X will normally appear Mountbatten Rd(1 amber ) around 0700hrs...
Wow ok seems like is my mis-accuracy then haah hmm cos the only perm Wright in 197 w/o ad is 7578 from BN. Hmmm seems like maybe a cameo from either SL or BN.. maybe is the 76xx series??
To make some clearer statement, the incident happend at 8 30am around thr. from bedok to parkway takes about 30 mins, so the bus should haf left Bedok int around 7 50 to 8am time.
by right a departure from 0730-0815 should be a slbp bus, of course i dont rule out if any scheduled bndep buses that depart during this period. though calculating backwards would be either start duty from jurong east or early morning downroute towards jurong east..Originally posted by TIB1105H:Haha sry typo err. ok let me check if there is any cameo ytd. then how about those split- shift buses from BN ? should be buses in front ?
One fxxxxxx Volvo Wright kissed the rear of my dad's car today at Hougang Ave 10/Central junction. The bus front bumper got small crack only, but my car got dent at the rear and the boot cannot close. Two week old car got into accident. damn suay. Kena ranting from my dad. ![]()

the bus driver keep apologising and said that the bus is new and the brakes are not that good. what an excuse

Well its really true that the brakes are not good for new buses as it still cant catch the wheels when it breaks. its not an excuse, u look at the previous post about the Wright bus hitting the K, it was by accident that the bus just "bam" into the K without even knowing. I have boarded alot of Wrights b4, those that just came out on svc like the 757x to the 76xx buses their breaks are still new. And everytime they "fly" up till 60 when they need slow down at bus stop they had to break quite hard to stop the bus. So its really the brake issue for all new vehicles. :)

When I read your this sentence, I almost spilled my coffee ! What nonsense is this? Don't feed other members with your own assumptions. How can the bus be registered if the braking system has an issue. Whether its KUB or Wright, if the bus is registered, it means the bus has no issues at all. This is clearly human error. By blaming on the bus, this driver showed lack of responsibility and deserved to get the sack. Period.
some bus enthusiasts are just very protective of their hobby and everything comprised in it. ![]()

If it's a K instead he wouldn't have said that!

It will take almost 1 year to register all of the first 150 Wrights.

if u never drove wrights or even ks before, pls do not make these baseless assumptions.
Hello,
I wish to know, has the B9TL Wright been confirm to be 70 perm? Have seen them at TAS Receiving Station bus stop, Yio Chu Kang Road, in the direction of Shenton Way, at around 6:58am, for the past few days. One of the Wrights I have seen is 7670X... Been quite excited to see Wrights on Service 70 after having to take so many KUBs, Mark IVs and Olympians.... Hope this is not a cameo...
Could anyone confirm for me whether 7670X and others will be AMDEP 70?
Thanks...

Thanks for the quick answer :)
Quite excited then, any idea on how many Wrights deployed for service 70?
Are there any Wright afternoon services for 70? Only Wright 70s I've seen are in the morning.
Too jealous of seeing Wright 22s on my way to school that one day I took a Wright 22 all the way to NEX before riding on 70 back home...

Sry i am not even a bus driver... Just a bus spotter but i really feel that new brakes cant be compromised. Even when i bought my new car not long ago, the braking wasnt very catchy yet.

5190C is a KUB Euro V, so I think you and buses[IN]gapore! are saying the same thing. Thanks both. :)
I wonder how many Wrights will be deployed to 70 in all.
