  Sorry to say the new buses for 160 & 170 needs 3rd brake light.. Citaro fits e picture fair and well.

  I think you do not understand a chunk of 160 & 170 buses are used onto 92, 95, 96 on Weekdays.

  Its only 74 and 96. That totals 13 buses. 92 rid its JB mk3s when it went over to arbp control.

  There are 17 spare buses for 160/170 on weekdays - 10 for 170, 7 for 160.

  Speaking abt the Citaro,i jus remembered.SMB136C dosent hav a 3rd brake light. :S

  MK4 DM3500 - With the exception of SBS2779A and SBS2786D, which are special buses, all can go in and register

  Scania K230UB - The best of all! Put all Euro IV (Batch 1) with the exception of SBS8033D, SBS8138K and SBS8888D which are special buses. We can put 97 K230UBs in all BBDEP, so in case 160 and 170 frequencies is bad, we can have more buses.

  Till now I still dun understand why service 138 cannot get K230UBs. I dun think the road conditions along Mandai Lake Road is that bad, if not why 926/927 can accomodate with OC500LEs.

  u have to understand that some svcs are now going towards a WAB fleet.

  and they don't have sufficient buses to meet that demand now.
