  SBS9149Y - overturned while on JIS 257 and was beyond economical repair

  For SMRT/Tibs side:-

  TIB675K - burnt while on service 175 (now 975)

  TIB680U - met with an accident while off service along KJE (TBC again)

  TIB696A - met with an accident along PIE while on service 985, somewhere in 2006-07

  TIB900K - rear engine caught fire along Bedok Reservoir Rd while on service 67 and was inside news, somewhere in 2000

  TIB936H - caught fire along Upp Thomson Rd in June 2000 while on service 169

  TIB1110S - caught fire along Marsiling while on feeder 903 in Dec 2003, telecasted inside the news with the bus burnt to the skeleton...

  SBS901B got into an accident some months/years back. The front was badly damaged from what i know.

  SBS9424C was rammed in the rear by SBS9357M while travelling off svc along PIE....9424C currently is used as a training material at the Mandai police tactical training camp.9357M got scrapped.
  
  SBS1921L and SBS972X i heard was fire.But i dunno whether true anot.

  TIB696A skidded and rammed into the PIE flyover pillar at Bendemeer Rd due to the heavy rain as it was abt to enter the PIE....It was shown in the TV news....

  Yrs ago oso got SBS N113 caught fire n scrapped. Not sure which yr. tat time N113 was new bus during the early 1990's.

  N some of the buses were donated to various organizations, not sure y

  I know 2 LO is preserve. =)

  SBS71X was the one...it was on service 16 travelling from ECP to Changi Airport then. Saw a newspaper article somewhere.

  SBS9013E was burnt in AMDEP fire about 10 years ago, together with some merc and leyland non-aircon DD. SBS901B was involved in a bad accident. It was laid up for 2 years before being de-registered early this year.

  SBS 0972X...what I heard from unknown source was that it was involved in an accident in Chinatown while doing 33. Its rear half was crushed. Not sure if its the case; some say it's fire.

  Just searched SBS 1921L and found that it was burnt in mid-04 while returning to BBDEP. http://zh.sgforums.com/forums/1279/topics/97076

  The Merc got one: SBS 0456U. I think SBS 0563T also involved in fire as well.

  901B - buang on sv9.  think at simei area?
  972X - fire on sv33, eu tong sen st
  1921L - fire/buang on sv506, bt batok east ave 3

  no one mentioned 3693G. It buang on 14 and again on 231W. Both times it had press coverage and it survived.

  Some did not have enough rest though, Look at their operating hours and you will know why. If it is human it would be dead ages ago.

  TIB900K caught fire along Bedok Reservoir Rd but it managed to get to Boon Lay Int before it fully burns down.

  most likely is due to poor maintenance, dirty and oily engine compartment.
