this one is what i got from TV last time...and seems to be quite offcial answers
the longest bus route by SBS is bus 30 with over 42 stages (compare that with 61's 39 stages)
the shortest one is indeed a tie between 284 nad 354
the longest loop service (as i found out) is bus 24 with over 62 stages if u wish to stay on the bus from amk to changi aiport and back to amk
the bus with most scenery is definately bus 30: jurong, skyline, some more estates..what more u want? oh yah bejamin shears brige also.

Longest loop service: 36 (64 fare stages), in second is 89 (53 fare stages) -

Yes, at last someone mentioned Service 30, the longest and one of the most tiring journeys even for a passenger.
The longest TIBS service in terms of fare stages and probably distance is none other than Service 989. 51 fare stages, and that is 6 more than Service 30's 45 fare stages.
And a side note, the 2003 Transitlink Guide Book will be on sale in June. I guess the Guidebook will include the NEL, so as to explain its late sale date.
