That station is not belong to Gov, it belong to a PTE company and most CNG taxi and PTE CNG car top up there. Also the pressure of CNG top up is not stable, and is slow as the station gas is brought in by truck, not by plump in by gas pipe. Just think every day 10 to 20 SMRT buses top up there, it will take hours before all the buses are on the road, SMRT will lost business and fine for no turning up on time. SMRT bus timing already so f-up. Humm I wonder. Forget about CNG if it good why SBS not bring more CNG bus? If lay a pipe line to SMRT deport I think the cost will rise up still has to depend on the gas pressure during top up.
Also has you notice that all SBS CNG buses are station at the west side of singapore and most of the time the sbs cng buses go to jurong island to top up as sambawang CNG gas on that station is plumped direct from indonesia piple line. That mandai station CNG gas is from Malaysia and bought in by truck see the different?

The length of a SPC petrol truck isn't so long, so why can't it turn?
