No wad. TIB12++'s seats are the harder ones. It is not the ones found on OCs.

He is not referring to the cushion layout, he is referring to the top part of the seats.

We don't care about the hardness as it is the amount of cushion under the seat cover, all of them only have changed seat covers.

Huh? But TIB1116B that ones are the coft ones. It couldn't have been the Old Seats below. For what I understood, seats covers are placed on top of the older seats.

Then I cannot help you if you don't even get my meaning.
I don't get what you guys are talking.
And it's not called OC seats(not cover, the red/blue or fur one etc.), it's a Volgelsitze Ver2 seat. Cause Habit/Volgren(1147L - 1197S) also have it, same for KUB/B9TL.
To SMB116K :
What you mean by soft/hard one?? Which part of the seats are you referring to? The Cushion? The Handle? Or the Seat Cover?? And the NEW Seats Cover(Red/blue or fur one etc.) isn't placed on top of the previously one but the previous one will be taken out and change with the new one. Inside it, is the sponge to give the comfortable and smooth journey feeling. Some of the sponge is hard, some is soft and some is average.

That means they added more cushion under the seat or they change the whole seat cushion to a new one.
Even if the feeling is the same as the ones on the OCs, NEVER refer them as OCs seats.

TIB1147L to TIB1247G and the further buses.

Explain to you another time. Coz running out of time now

I undersatnd that you are trying to say that some of the buses with new seat covers feels like the ones on the OCs while some don't. In this case, we don't care about the hardness or softness, we just refer to them as "new (insert type of seat covers - though currently they are using OC style seat covers) style seat covers"

How come you say you are running out of time when you posted this before 3.
63 & 66 found to have long waiting time.

That's right.
Saw TIB 955C and TIB 961? with a 3rd brake light (in the centre), similar to those found on those SMRT JB-registered O405s. Could they be the ones replacing them once they go?

Hmm, looks like they ARE going to be the next generation of JB-registered O405s.
But they got the 3rd brake light since their first day of service.
hard braking by drivers.. tsk tsk

They came with the 3rd brake lights ever since they were brand new.

The lights do not look like they were part of the bus design (like the OCs), but looks like it was added by SMRT themselves, just like those JB-registered O405s. Maybe SMRT installed them when the buses when new, with the intention of sending them to do 950 when the time is right?

Then you ask yourself, are the O405s installed with the brake lights when the buses were new?

As far as I remember, nope. What I'm wondering is the reason why the Volgren rigids have the third brake light, and one possibility is that they may be sent to do 950 in future. Of course, there is a chance that SMRT installed the lights "for fun" (the lights don't seem to be part of the design of the bus, rather they were added by SMRT), then I have nothing to say about that ...

If I'm not wrong, SMRT buses have 3rd brake light as a standard.

TIBS purchased the Volgren O405 in 1998 and they were already fitted with 3rd brake lights. Even the O405G bodied by Volgren that arrived in 2000 came with 3rd brake lights.
And, the current 950 was only introduced after SMRT took over in 2004.
