Hearing that no one is bothered to dispatch 179A full routing in the afternoon, only for South Spine or downroute.
No wonder how come 7 - 9 buses goes missing in the afternoon.
It takes 20 - 30 mins to wait and board a 179 or 179A at South Spine. In total 1 hr from NTU to Boon Lay...
FML.... Seeing how efficient 241 is...
Ends up those ppl who really need 179 at South Spine n lives at JW St 63 can forget abt boarding it. 179 catered for North Spine ordered by ground staff ![]()
179A freq is 15 mins a bus... In total 179 is 40% operated these days...
Dun let me find out some ppl inside here and involved in this matter.

When kids living in the area constantly write in to corpcomms and senior mgmt to demand for Wrights and Citaros on their own favourite services, something's gotta give eventually ![]()
NTU Student Union is useless. Should learn from their NUS counterparts who in turn learn from buses[in]gapore! and demand from corpcomms and senior mgmt. See how NUS students now get to enjoy both Wrights and Citaros ![]()

Better not play union politics.
I mean ppl alrdy play, dun act back.. Sometimes isn't the best method...
Also I didn't know there's 179 downroutes in the PM peak.
I only saw PM off peak downroutes to cater for the part time students. But the downroute arrangement is not like that one...
From what I saw, is the starting bus stop being North Spine.
No wonder bus freq of 179 can become 15 mins during the QoS timing, anyhow chuck 179A buses in and out.
Seriously if PTC steps in, woah, gao gao... underoperated, bus freq cannot maintain 10 mins on daily basis, 179A goes missing.

Then Mark would tell you to just suck it up. Nothing ventured, nothing gained ![]()

Well Wrights and Citaros are a testament to their "successes"
They can play all they want, they've better not end up get burnt by it.
Playing with other ppl's transportating needs for the wrong reason is wrong... They've better not start crying for milk if they ends up studying in NTU in future.
Thanks to it, now ppl at N Spine semua take 179, deprive ppl at S Spine of any boarding chance.
SLBP really cannot prioritise all these things.
I dare them deploy only 6 buses to 241 since they can dare to allow 2x ADD backlog on 179 within 6 mins block. 1 hr journey from NTU to BNL.. I think can take 2 rides of 241 le..
In the past, feeder buses are given lousy buses.. Simi Wright. 182 should be given Wright, so long distance to Tuas South.
SBS8745H (HG 27) EDS malfunction. Caught displaying sth like:
AIRP VARD
HOU 27
SBS9224M (AM SP) has a faulty horn.
The BC kept triggering the horn all the way from AMK very few seconds while on Sv133. last bus from AMK. BC gave the helpless look when I looked at him after alighting. Haha.
led is going to change the world and illuminate forever

I check le, it is impossible to move such a big crowd around. There are similar complaints at Clementi stn bus stop heading to SIM/NP during the AM peak. People complained that they can stuck at the bus stop for more than 30 minutes with quite a number services leading to their destination.
Please do understand the limits they have..
You should share your views or suggestion to improve the bus service. Seriously, I believe your suggestion will be taken into consideration.
In the present, the implementation of WAB services changes how things works. Just like buses which goes to the industrial area receives KUB and B9TL.
21.9.2011 F1 road bus observations:
Morning, sv14e forgot to turn to Middle Rd went all the way to Shenton Way
One Premium sv did not turn left to Cross St, went straight to bus stop os Prudential Tower...

Eh...
The problem is bus not even operated at all...
Someone because of this, it becomes rooted for ppl at North to die die take 179, leaving the ppl at South having no choice... Think many take NTU shuttle or walk back...
This evening, true enough... There's much more ordered dispatch..
The Clementi one we know.
The Jurong bound bus stop is in for some works.. Just what it is, I cannot comment abt it openly.
As for the City bound, I guess more can be done with 52...

I think it's only 6 of which 2 K270IB...
The NTU chartered bus is literally on firing squad... It's on T-license basis by PTC & LTA.
