Bus Observations (2011)

went to Caldecott Station just now, saw the bus stop pole with service 235 pasted on it just outside exit B (near the round-a-bout)

as usual, HGDEP take in new buses and kick out old buses to other depots, but some ppl are still complaining , give new buses also complain.. never give also complain... should have put all these wrights on JIS service mah as one to one direct replacement for the VO2x while HGDEP can keep those VO3x.

not at the two new bus stops? so 235 go straight along TPY Lor 1, turn into Toa Payoh Rise, then u-turn and travel back along Lor 1, Lor 2, Lor 3 and lor 5?

Not only hgdep doing dat transfer out vo3 to slbp ! bbdep also got transfer out vo3 to slbp same to bndep transfer vo3 to AMDEP !

You shouldn't be surprised that a significant amount comes from someone who claims 88 has a fleet of Striders.

most probably cause i don't see any bus services pasted on the two new bustop pole along TPY Rise.

Route changes for 147, 166 and a few other services due to junction at NAFA being closed.....I was caught off-guard and thought the BC was dreaming when he stopped 1 stop before the one right outside Fortune Centre instead.

Flash floods hit parts of Singapore in the early afternoon of Friday after a torrential downpour in the morning.
In a Facebook post at about 1:30pm, PUB, Singapore's national water agency, said that due to heavy rain flash floods occurred at Upper Serangoon Road, making two lanes impassable to traffic.
Users on Twitter also reported flooding in Bishan, Selegie, Thomson and Bukit Timah.
At 1:45pm, PUB said that flash floods had been reported near KJE slip road towards Woodlands Road, but by 2pm, the agency said the waters there had subsided.
At 2:45pm, the flood at Serangoon had subsided as well and lanes had become passable to traffic, PUB said.

Accident at the traffic light junction at AMK Ave 3 and 6 involving 2 cars and a lorry at about 9pm just now. Heard buses travelling along AMK Ave 3 towards MRT station were diverted to AMK Ave 6

But 1010Y has the glossy ducting because it had an accident before and had a reengineered ducting(of quite poor quality).

Looks like SBST have plans to extend feeder 235 to serve Caldecott station from Toa Payoh estate once the road upgrades along Toa Payoh Rise is completed. Looking forward to it

By right Soon Lee should be called Depot not bus park,Bus park should be Braddell cause of limited space/maintenance bay for SBST buses and ditto for Ayer Rajah too.SMRT AMK should be called bus park too. -

TIB881G: After refurb, rear EDS i think tio shock, that day on svc190 then display OFF SVC. Plus, TIB881G rear still got Merc badge. Unlike other boxes.

TIB952 on Sv925 went straight from Kranji Road to Turf Club Road and turn into BKE and to woodlands Ave 3 at around 7.30pm with paxs on. Skipped the bus stops along woodlands road due to big jam along woodlands road (near kranji mrt station)...
