  But this service only operates during CNY. Probably the service was changed because of looping.

  Any comments or this bus route shouldn't amend...

  (1) The Marina Bay amendment may work.

  (2) 196 is the only svc linking Bedok South area, condominiums along Marine Parade Rd to CBD area (since extension to Bedok Int). In addition, 196 route is quite long, shud have interchange at both ends. Cutback to Marine Terrace may not be feasible.

  er... 170 route can stay till Downtown line (Bukit Panjang) is ready. The Tampines to JB route can be renumbered as a new service.

  With these route enhancements in hand, Clementi Ave 4 will be better connected to other areas in Singapore. Therefore, Feeder 284 can be withdrawn.

  (1) Svc 7 may work to replace 284 after 284M is no longer needed.

  (2) Svc 184 unlikely to be diverted coz my impression is that most ppl use 184 to get to Clementi MRT fast, this additional 3 stops will hold back the journey.

  I doubt Double Deck buses can make a u-turn at Clementi Ave 4 and svc 7 have their own demand at Ave 5 so doesn't need to amend svc 7.

  How come 284M is not needed if it's operating at a longer time than 284? Why don't you merge 284M and 284 so that 284 operates everytime with 284M's route?

  160 cannot use Expressway, will die one

  Furthermore buses are given free access from Old Woodlands Rd. Old Woodlands Rd (Woodlands Ave 3 - Woodlands Centre Rd stretch, CIQ/ Ctr Rd bound) would be closed to cars if traffic volume is high.

  from JB checkpoint to Larkin, one bus every 10 mins for example, will still have empty seats... extend 160 will incur additional buses when there is no capacity issues going to Larkin.

  to add on the only time there's demand to Larkin is CNY period when ppl goes to x-fer to Express buses.

  Which SBS did so by adding more buses on 170 Red plate on CNY eve.

  170 is likely to be kept. Somewhat they'll keep some buses for it to be there i.e. for ppl to Woodlands Centre or JB so sort.

  In any case, most of 170's Bt Timah pax are either to JB or from Upp Bt Timah to Bugis (being the only bus).

  I dun see why 160 should use PIE/ BKE either.

  Bt Batok Rd - CCK Rd usually there's no jam other than the bottleneck at Upp Bt Timah junction.

  You try using PIE you'll be stucked in slow moving traffic on top of incurring distance.

  Furthermore whenever the buses are regular, you do see passengers travelling bet CCK & Jurong East.
