Bro... there is NO demand... except for a few people taking it from Tehlok Blangah Heights to Tehlok Blangah MRT... So many times spotted this bus turning into Alexandra road during morning and evening peak with < 10 pax on board.

The route definitely needs revision - the only thing that needs to be maintained is connection between TBL MRT and Tehlok Blangah Heights. That's why I suggested route from Kent Ridge Terminal looping @ Tanglin Halt Road via Tehlok Blangah Heights, Redhill Close & Margaret Drive.

I agree with you...by the way I actually retained the Telok Blangah MRT to Telok Blangah Heights sector for the amended service 120...might as well introduce a separate service to cover Telok Blangah, Redhill and Commonweath area instead. Refer to page 67 for more details.

Anyway, I think that the Clementi West St 2 part for PM Peak is not feasible, unless there is a proper turning. But it can only U-turn along West Coast Road now, which will affect the traffic.

Plus your route back cannot make it. Tell me where can 902 loop back the fastest if not by St 81,Ave 2? Woodlands St 91 cannot be used as a loop. Unless u want 902 to U-Turn at St 81 junction then go ave 5 wich is not feasible for 1140E,1145S and 1190K.

So this route will not happen. Just saying my thoughts

eh 902 bendies used the u-turn which is just after the st 81 and ave 5 junction before the traffic light operated...

Add delay awhile only, and my "same route" refers to the current one, which is why I said that it can enter and immediately head to the same berth to pick up. I think this can cut down the length of the queue faster. At the same time, probably it can share with NP coaches?

853s(before school service)

i have 2 options for this:

option 1(terminating at Australian International School)

same route on 853 until lorong chuan and turn to Lor Chuan

supporting factors that only apply to option 1:

students that need to get from yishun to their schools along AMK Aves 1,3,8 can enjoy increased frequencies of service 853(853s) to their schools
increase frequency for service 853 along Yishun until Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1
can also benefit passengers towards AMK Industrial Park in the morning which they can also get increased frequencies

objecting factors that only apply to option 1

lorong chuan students and passengers need to detour via AMK before arriving their destination(although they can get more sleep until the terminal stop)
might have a crash with existance 853 services as the frequency is increased in the morning peak

option 2(loop):

extend 857A services beyond YCK Road and use CTE to get to Lorong Chuan before returning to Yishun via the 853s afternoon route(or a.k.a 853 route from AMK ave 1)

supporting factors to option 2:

benefit the companies along Yio Chu Kang Road(ST Electronics etc.) and also increasing the frequency of 854/857 instead of 853(as 853 frequency i think is enough for the morning peak) before CTE
giving Lorong Chuan students/passengers faster trips to Lorong Chuan without having to go via AMK
Buses that go on this route will return to Yishun Interchange and therefore can return to their normal routes from Yishun
This option will also benefit the frequency of 853 along the AMK sector to Yishun in the morning

objecting factors to option 2:

AMK Aves 3/8 passengers will not choose the morning service as it takes much more time than taking 853
Some AMK Industrial park passengers would prefer taking 853 as compared to this route unless those thinking that going via CTE to Lorong Chuan first would be faster
When there is heavy traffic or accidents on the CTE there is a 80% above chance that this route will be affected(and the return journey will be affected even though it does not go to CTE)
the amount of passengers on one bus will be increased compared to option 1 as this route equals to shortworking trips of 3 routes(853 to Yishun from AMK Ave 1 and also 854/857 to Bedok/SC before CTE)
