Don't you think your route does a big merry go round to go to Jurong? Go via YCK Road, then back to HG Ave 3 and then to Eunos to go to Jurong. Not viable. -

I support this route with the withdrawal of 113. Don't need 113 between Kovan and Hougang. Can just have 113 do Serangoon Interchange loop @ Kovan because you will need some terminal / interchange for the BC to rest. -

Waste of resources. Rather just have 113 ply by going on extended HG Ave 1 and Lor Ah Soo b/w Serangoon and Kovan. Then no need for 45A also. DDs can also be plied on 113 and will be successful. -

In this edit, I was intending to reuses the bus stops along B.B East Ave 6 where former 989 (Don't we miss it?
) used to ply and also to make new bus stops along Bartley Rd East. However, this route could do with more express sectors... Thanks, anyway!

What is also needed is a massive improvement in frequency of BPS1. The bus comes one in every 15 minutes or so. If people spot it, they take it, else they rely on the over-crowded LRT system.

This revised BPS1 needs about 4-6 buses to improve frequency well.
