What will happen to CSS in the new few months ?

  Will they shut down ? If they do shut down , what will happen to the buses ? Transfer over to TIB main line fleet ?

  I don't think CSS or SSB will cease operations, not at least anytime soon. CSS services cater to the low-fare ops, while TIBS is to the standard-fare ops. If TIBS should decide to merge CSS services into TIBS mainline trunk service, there will be a huge public outroar. And IMO, I wouldn't want to see CSS gone from our roads. It's quite boring to see all public buses from TIBS or SBST.

  The guy we talked to at Woodlands depot has told us they have plans to ceased CSS's operations .

  I don't think SSB will be shut down for the time being, but in future that's difficult to tell.
  
  CSS buses cannot transfer to Tibs fleet, otherwise you will see 2 Tibs services at St. Michael's terminal, which is controlled by SBST. That's impossible.
  
  I also would like to see them operating at night and on Suns & PHs.

  yes, the hinos had gone. last december i saw less than 5 at the depot but when i went there recently, no more! so sad. i thought 608 don't have hinos in the first place? mainly UDs, some DAFs and the Lance.

  hi hao rui:
  
  u see hao rui, the hinos are mostly on 607 and 603. once they are gone what else can 603 and 607 use? DAF and UDs. hence a few might have been taken off 608 and the freq of 608 became longer.
  
  actually hor: is that what is happening now? i have yet to re-assess 603 and 607. have to find time one day to do so
