Looking forward to their introduction, like how the KUBs entered service.
But that would mean bidding farewell to the MKIIIs. The truly ever-reliable workhorses. No mean feat that all 300 actually survived the 17 years with none being lost.
Before MKIIIs are fully gone, think the last of the SBST O405s will be gone by the first batch of Citaros arrival. They will mark the end of the chapter of the first generation 1990s air con buses that SBS bought.
Anyway, is there a Citaro on 853 yet??? Hope to catch.

Speaking of the KUBs, I noticed the EURO 4s have drastically improved the jerking problems and the gear change is very smooth. Too bad the speed is still limited.

Im not sure what KIB that SJE is using. Definitely not a K114IB because of the radiator and engine sound. A K114 have a different sound. Cant find the specs of the KIB they are using. It behaved like K230 actually, and sounded like one, but definitely ran much faster than a KUB LOL.
Edit: Saw some photos and learnt that its a K230IB. Funny, the performance is damn different than our dear city K230UB. It even overtook a volgren bendy with ease and speed. The bus doesnt feel lack of power, unlike some of our KUBs. Best part: they are not electronically speed limited.
187 SL groups still never undergo TRG yet, according to 1 of 187 perm SLs. But it is a matter of time to get back some of WAB fleets after 'donating' 132M 133K to 858 last year.
When 187 gets Citaro appearance, most likely will appear on Split as few months ago, OC kept on cameoing on S Shift slots. Else, some A/P SLs who drove OC before can also be qualified to drive Citaro, but privided if they finish TRG.
When would the Citaros come to KJDEP?

Yeah.
They did away with the engine braking.
Good riddance.
Guys, this is Citaro not Scania KUB, if you guys want to talk about that, please create another thread.
I am quite surprised KJ didn't get any, perhaps they will get when more buses (unknown yet) are out.

Is not that I don't want to, Monday to Friday have school till 3 (Cause sec 2 streaming), Saturday has SYF taining and Sunday has tutions. So I don't really have enough time to camp for buses. It will be better for me at least knowing the time. Hope you understand......

KUB, the U means Urban bus and KIB, the I means Intercity bus???
What are the differences between their engine placements and horsepowers??? We know the KUB is rear engined...

Bro, 300 SBST Citaros are coming their way here very soon. Till then, they will be all over Singapore and you can catch them easily as many times as you can. If you have studies to consider, better put your studies as priority. Catching buses is not that important as compared to studies.

In my opinion if u ask me,i tink it wld b better if u concentrate on yr studies 1st than rushing yrself for no reason on tis buses..They r gonna b here for 17 yrs and nt gonna run away anywhere.U gt all the time in the world to catch them later.I dunno wat u may think but this is just my opinion..
