Love those angles - it differs from the standard 1.5m eye-level shots, of which I myself am having problems avoiding it.
You can try experimenting with a little more head room, the bus taking up only the bottom two-thirds of the image. The good ol' Rules of Thirds, which is really more of a guideline.
I disagree with S.Solitare that having people in the shot is bad. People are an important part of buses. An empty bus shouldn't be called a bus, it's just a pile of metal, plastic, and glass. A soft human touch can sometime soften an extremely sharp image. People dozing off, looking around, or even just idling - it's all part of a larger thing called "life".
Both of which is something someone is lacking of... Not a human and no life. :D

hmm every shot is an experience towards a better shot. Well, i do shoot photos that are of similar view. Hey, it's an expression of your creativity. Or maybe it's limitations, maybe due to not enough space or traffic. But still, it's a photo for memories =)
my own "head big" photos.

Please luh, do not take bus photography to the extend when we need to follow the rules of thirds. That's best for landscape or portrait photography. Fool.

If you want to talk law, only photos of people in situations or positions that defames them are against the law. I don't see people being sued for STOMP articles, do I? So if photos that defames people are not being acted upon, I doubt any photo of people in everyday situations would be wrong.
Hey everyone, chill man.
Yes, the rule of thirds is used, but as a general rule of photography. It depends on the situation, and the photographer. The aspect of photography is large and can be disputed for many reaons, but we must set aside skills and preferences, they are of different issues.
Blur and unclear shots are issues of skills that can be discussed, but as to how a photographer frames the particular shot are issues of preferences which defers from person to person.

This may not be the best way to feature the Volvo B9TL, but it's still a way of expressing the usage of such buses in Singapore.

Agreed.
Edit: I find this a rather good guide of a photographer's rights.

Wow, Wright and most of all double decker on 95. All along I thought 95 cannot use double deckers.

That photo is not even photogaphed using rules of thirds.

It's a big difference.

Not me. But u. Are u snapping for others to see? No, u snap for ur own. Dun ask me, I got my own standards.
For ur photo, where's the back? Cut off alr?

Alamak...I think you all get the wrong point from his answer..He was just telling you not to take picture of buses with people standing beside it(like the MK3s on 170 with 1 person guiding a tourist), not people on bus being snapped...

Nope. U are wrong. ppl didn't get sued for STOMP articles... Does that means it's legal to do so? Pls do not make assumptions. If u wanna take interior pics, why cant wait till the bus itself reaches the terminus and politely ask the driver for permission? I did asked for the UD interior shot, Dashboard. Did u? I dun think so, u just went in, and having a 'photo feast' as if the whole bus is urs. Isn't that so? There are so many ppl onboard, even a few bus fans. U wanna ask them?
Photo of ppl in everyday is not wrong, but those person whom u have photographed, have u asked them? For an interior shot, u can ask politely. Taking photo of a bus, u tell me how?

Tell u wad, look at everyone's photo. And urs. Learn from there. no need 1/10 or 9/10. u are overall snapping for ur own. I'm just giving u advice, u dun wan it, then just leave it.

Let's not talk about photos this time round. Talk about ur behaviour when the MAN A22 debuted. What are u behaving like? I know everyone is excited when a new bus debutes, but can u just control urself? It's a disgrace for all of us, having a member who do not know how to control themselves. C'mon, u are a bus fan la, what u do have impact on us. Think.
