How about this, Samuel, let's stop all this war of words. I'll rather prove you wrong with a picture, of which I'll post tomorrow.
If you need to know, Nissan Diesel UDs has a irreplacable position in my childhood. It's a kind of connection for which not everyone is able to understand, unless you yourself has gone through it. It's this memory that actually drew me to become a bus enthusiast, and one that keeps me going throughout the years.

With ur behaviour, u think I'll stop? Not that I wanna have a war with u. It's the fact that u do not know what u are doing in public. Did u know that when u snapped the interior of the UD, I was so disgraced? "Why our dear bus fans behaving like monkeys in public?"
I know, the UDs might be a irreplaceable position in ur childhood, but that do not have the rights to feast the interior. Get it?
So why did u choose to disgrace us when there is another option? Ask the driver politely at the terminus. I asked him at GL1, and he is more than willing to let me have the interior snapped. Why can't u just ask first? Certain things are avaliable on request....
I recomend ALL OF YOU TO STOP THIS !@#$%*& ARGUEMENT WHICH JUST STARTED BECAUSE OF ME ASKING FOR COMMENTS FOR MY PHOTOS.

Don't worry. I didn't start you asked for comments. It's more of a clash of opinions, coupled with an existing feud.

To be honest, I didn't see the need to do so. Upon reflection, perhaps I should have done so. :)
(Do you think it possible to end this dispute? I find it detrimental to both of us: kind of a lose-lose situation...)
All I want to see here is Wrights on Svc 95 & DD on 181(?)!

It's a big difference.
Precisely, that was my POINT. I said that it is ued as a general rule of photography. It depends on the situation, and the photographer. Now you are trying to tell me that photos without the application of the rule of thirds are not as good as what you have shown me? Come on. like I said, it depends on the situation. You can't always apply the rules all the time. Rules are dead, we are alive to live by different practical situations. For example, I quote a picture from STOMP:
How in the right mind you apply the rule of thirds in such situations?
And you are also trying to tell me a photo from a professional photographer from the press that managed to pass through the editor and get published is not good in your eyes? What are you trying to imply here?

C'mon, u are a bus fan la, what u do have impact on us. Think.

95's issue w/ e YIH bridge somewhat came about during the 151 double deck debate eons ago.
What about 95 turnin out from Holland V... I guess it does not have a problem right? Because of in the past 61 also used DDs...

I dun see any bad behaviour here. Are u blind? Or u got no common sense at all? Did u read up the dictionary to find out what is the definition of "Behaviour"? LOLz. U are making me laugh at ur own actions. Clone all u can, since u got nothing better to do. As I said, I'm not at a losing end. U clone = Ur problem.
God gave u a life, and u are wasting it on creating clones and flame others.... LOLOL. What a joke =)

I'm not saying that the Wright photo u shown me, didn't had the rules of thirds applied. Tell me, if u are a person who is kinda new to photography, which would u say that it has the obvious look of the rules of thirds applied? I'm not going to carry on flaming with ppl who wanna use rules of thirds on bus photography. Coz no result, the other party flame back, I shoot back. Well, carry on with ur activities, let's see.

Okay, why did u think that it isn't a need to do so? Isn't it better for u and the driver of that particular bus if u ask the driver for interior shots? In the end of the day, the bus itself belongs to either SBS Transit or SMRT. U can't just go in one of their buses and snap it's interior without permission from the driver. That also applies to entering a depot, be it a bus depot or a train depot. Can u enter as if u own it?
What I'm trying to say here is, plz behave urself next time. The security level have gone up and the Public Transport Operators [PTO], both SBST and SMRT are monitoring on our actions. If u insist on doing what u think it's right, then I have no rights to stop u. I can only warn u here. Hope u take this as a lesson.
In loving memory of the last bus with Fishermen's Friend advert
Hope to see FF ad back on buses some other times!
