The driver drives slow sometimes because his time schedule is probably early and he cant reached the interchange too early , some of them like to speed depending on the buses they are driving .Originally posted by bluegalz:why the bus driver drive according to their mood? some drive till sooo slow when we are rushing for time..... can we ask the driver to go faster? but usually paisay to ask
wondering if anyone can ans the question![]()
All the bus captains (SBST) and service captains (Tibs) have different systems of time-duty schedule. It depends on time frequency, traffic constraints, supplementary short trips, meal breaktimes and their time intervals need to be proceeded through the computer tracing the movement of the buses on the road.Originally posted by off_service:All drivers have a schedule stating what time they must reach a particular bus stop or interchange/terminal. If they are early, they must drive slowly to match the timing of their schedule. As such, we cannot blame them for their slow driving.
Not necessary. Consider the journey b4 the bus stop. If according to your theory, the bus behind, let's say it overtakes and end up as the first bus behind, so taking the first bus may be slower, as he may want to help his colleague out by slowing down a bit. Don't forget that the first bus at ur bus stop is ahead of his timetable, so he have to slow down somewhere cos he have to enter the interchange on schedule. Same goes for the last one, but I will agree with u to take the last one, bus is much riskier cos he may not stop seeing there were 2 buses in front , esp since he is in a rush. Also, SBST seems to have a policy that prevents buses from bunching, so they will try to spread out, like 74.Originally posted by SBS9818A:If 2 buses come at the same time, most times the one in front has to rush as he is behind time already! The second one will drive like a tortoise. If 3 come at one go, take the last one, he will speed.
Why does the third bus speed? isn't he also ahead of time?Originally posted by SBS9818A:If 2 buses come at the same time, most times the one in front has to rush as he is behind time already! The second one will drive like a tortoise. If 3 come at one go, take the last one, he will speed.
But most of the time, the driver of the 2nd bus, upon seeing the 1st bus in front, will stop a distance away from the 1st bus and then after alighting passengers, will speed away and not turn into the bus bay even when some passengers choose to board the 2nd bus.Originally posted by SBS9818A:If 2 buses come at the same time, most times the one in front has to rush as he is behind time already!
