It was FAC all along if I'm not wrong.
To answer this question over Sv merger and cancellation
There was 2 main reason for rt merger and cancellation, in fact 3 even..
1) CBD Rts: They wanted to reduce the no of buses inside the CBD and even the roadside terminals aft the MRT commenced.
This clause saw Svs like 20 removed, M2 was introduced w/ the MRT > feeder concept.
2) Buses became bigger: Bigger buses meant more capacity, I guess some Svs were removed. Some examples was CSS 6 that duplicated with 65.
3) MRT: Some long distance routes were simply shortened as there's no point in creating long dist rts... Sv 2 was shortened to just ply CBD - Changi Village instead of plying all the way to Buona Vista.

There is someone who can prove that 194 used NAC DM MK2s in 2006.

Yes, it was used as a 1-year trial. His information were all false, like the years of introduction and de-registration, and also the models.
In one of your posts you replied me, it says that SBS1518T-SBS1616T is the same model (Mercedes-Benz OF1417) but with two bodyworks overall. Only SBS1519R-SBS1524A were bodied by Soon Chow, the rest are all Hawke bodied.
From what I feel, 323 should have been withdrawn when 151 was re-introduced as a Hougang South-Kent Ridge service. The original route of 151 went via Defu Ave 1 (HGDEP).

CSS 4 was withdrawn and there were no buses that connected Nicoll Hwy with Chinatown. Even after the commencement of Suntec City's operations nobody thought of it.

Similarly, something like dat happened to 194, maybe?

There were two buses perming 194 according to someone in 2006: an OAC DM O405 and a NAC DM MK2. Isn't it the same like that?

What buses does TIBS 160 have under WLDEP since its opening in Oct 1998 until it was re-numbered TIBS 980?
When did Volvo B9TLs moved out of 161 permers?
When 106 was in TIBS AMDEP round 1 the first time in 2000, How many splits and full day did it have?

Some of the perms I recalled perming TIBS 160 under WLDEP were 5xx series L113CRLs. Regos are TIB562C, TIB564Y & TIB565U.

Somewhere in January 2008. That was the time I no longer see B9TLs on 161 except cameos.
Post replaced. Come back again sometimes.
