That was in 1996, way before WLDEP opened. I remember TIB392B, TIB409M and TIB412C ever did 852.

If I remember correctly based on 2004's fleet: 934M 937E 938C 939A 940U 1007H 1008E 1009C 1010Y 1011U 1013P 1014L
KJDEP side I can't really remember which were perms. Most likely the 7xx DAFs.

So when 852 was under KJ, Who were the ones that didn't appear on your list?

Which month is it?
After 10 Mar 1996, when 950/951/952 were withdrawn.

Then what are the buses perming on 852 before 1996?
Originally posted by Gus.chong:Then what are the buses perming on 852 before 1996?
Mostly Hino HT238K/HT228KA/Nissan U31SCN.. Before Sv 852 gets their set of AC buses with the conversion to PAC, most of Sv 852 fleet are made up of NAC buses. Then later on, there was the restructuring & upgrading of the TIBS fleet, whereby most of the earlier buses (i.e. the Hino HT228KA) were retired after 12 years of lifespan. The Nissan U31SCN (between TIB26X and TIB29X) continues to serve on 852 - before they were retired and replaced by DAF Alexander Setanta & MB O405s.
The DAF SB220LT Hispano buses were short-lived on Service 852 fleet just like the other permers esp on 855 & 925, before some DAFs were sent over to CSS.
My fav old time bus:Albion Viking ahh still remember the screaming sound.
What models were CSS220T-CSS309A before they were de-registered?

We never had any DAF Striders.
DAF Hispano bodywerk just like the O405s OAC/CAC.
Love when 852 was under AM/KJ.....There's not much issue regarding long waiting time, less bus etc. There use to be at least 14 buses on 852 compared to now.

The DAFs had Setanta bodies which came from Alexander's now-defunct Belfast plant.
What is the route of SBS 159 before the year it was amended to ply Lorong Chuan?
Originally posted by TIB783G:What models were CSS220T-CSS309A before they were de-registered?
CSS230S-CSS266P were Hino HT238, registered in 1983 and pharsed out by 1996.
CSS267L-CSS268J were NAC Nissan Diesel U31SCNs, registered in 1985 and de-registered in 1997.
CSS269G was a NAC Hino HT238K, registered in 1986 and de-registered in 2001.
CSS270B-CSS289Z were Hispano DAF SB220LTs formerly registered as TIB405Z-TIB424T, re-registered in 1996/1997 and pharsed out by 2005.
CSS290T-CSS300Z (except CSS294H) were AC Hino HT238Ks formerly registered as TIB380K-TIB389L, re-registered in 1996/1997 and de-registered in 2003.
CSS294H was an AC Nissan Diesel U31SCN formerly registered as TIB390G, re-registered in 1997 and de-registered in 2004.
CSS301X-CSS309A were NAC Hino HT238Ks formerly registered as TIB353P-TIB361R, re-registered in 1997 and pharsed out by 2003.
Actually CSS267L & CSS268J were the first AC bus of CSS as a trial run. It ran on CSS 8 for a start, before it was converted to NAC.
There was also CSS212U to CSS229Y existed as well, but I'm not sure what is the model bearing these regos.
Correction: Its CSS220X, not CSS220T.
TIB1007H TIB1008E TIB1009C TIB1010Y TIB1011U TIB1013P TIB1014L are long term permers on 852.

SBS 159 was all along served Lor Chuan since its 2nd introduction.
Service 159 Original Route (2nd introduction)
Toa Payoh Town Centre, Lor 6, Lor 4, Lor 1 Toa Payoh, Braddell Rd, Lor Chuan, Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, Ave 6 (Loop)
And return via Ang Mo Kio Ave 3, Ave 6, Ave 1, Lor Chuan, Braddell Rd, Lor 6, Lor 4 Toa Payoh Central, Lor 2 Toa Payoh, Toa Payoh Town Centre.
Service 159 started off as a LOOP service to Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, until when AMK Int opens, then it became a 2-directional service.

I remembered the second 159 used DDs before.
And what are the amendments of 159 from its amendment to Ang Mo Kio till now?
I want to clarify something about service 242 (1989-current).
In the start the second service 24l2 was introduced between Boon Lay Way (Lakeside MRT) to Jurong West St 91. Note: Service 242 had been calling at Jurong West St 72 & Jurong West Ave 5 since that time.
I believe everyone should know 242 is amended to Boon Lay Interchange when it opened. The second point that everyone should know, is that there are two amendments for 242 in the Jurong West Neighbourhoods in the 90s.
The first amendment, is when 243 is introduced in 1991, service 242 was amended to skip Jurong West St 72 & Jurong West Ave 5 and ply Upp Jurong Rd (the current Jurong West Ave 4).
The second amendment is in 1994, when 243 was amended to ply Jurong West St 81 & 75 instead. Service 242 was amended back to ply Jurong West St 72 & Jurong West Ave 5 (This amendment is not in June 1992!)
The other amendments everyone knows about it, so I'm not continuing from here.
Some questions on deployments:
1) Do services 192 & 193 have a full SD fleet when it was just introduced? When was both services converted to PAC and when did both services receive NAC DDs like Leyland Olympians and Volvo Olympians?
2) What buses does service 27 use before it was made fully HGDEP controlled?
3) When did 13 started to have DDs?

When AMK Int opens in 1983 - it became a two-directional service from Toa Payoh to Ang Mo Kio.
In 2001 - extended to Sengkang Interchange.
In 2003 - becomes loop service
In 2005 - reverted back to two-directional service.

1) Services 192 & 193 uses the OF1413s/ 1417s and then MB O405 NACs later.. Sv 193 was FAC in 1995 and reverted back to PAC in 1998 when 193 was amended to Tuas Ter. Both services received their LO2x in 1999 followed by the replacement to VO2x in 2003.
2) Service 27 was under BNDEP and Scania N113CRBs were used.
3) Somewhere around 1985-1986. Bedok to Ghim Moh route used to have DDs. If you are referring to the current era, Sv 13 gets DDs in July 2007.
