297 never had DD to the best of my memory.
Unless it entirely fails me.
Precisely... I remember svc 221, followed by Townlinks 291 & 293 are the first few eastern area feeders to use LA. Svc 295, 297...?? Hmmm....

I only remembered that townlink 293 did used LAs before. SBS5613A (then with the blue colour SBS advertising ad) was one of them.
If I never remember wrongly, at least just prior to the merger, 297 was using only N113s.
And the new 293 that plied 297's route had no DDs after that.
291 was also using brand-new VO2X at one point, along with many Tamp services like 10, 18, 31.
I only rmbr that svc 221 used LA, and continued using LA after it became Townlink 222. Probably the person who states LA for svc 295 & 297 just 'copied' the 'theory...

Does anyone know when did 243W, 291 get mass upgrade of DDs? Like 225, 334 got only in 2012.
Thought 291 all these while had DD?
In the 90s it was the VO2X, Leylands and 1x bendy.

334 all the while had LO2x way back in the 80s. If was after the LO2x were retired in end 2003, 334 then switch to full fleet 0405s. Same goes for 243.
291 if I am not mistaken ever had NAC VO2x and LAs running in the 90s. Switched to full SD most probably due to low demand back then.

I remember these 2 0405s were among those that got depot transferred back to KJDEP when new service 989 was intoduced from CCK to Changi Airport in Aug 2001.

318S - Went to 160 in early 1996 replace 1 of the deregistered Hino HT238, then to 171 and followed by 169
319P - Not very sure but I remember it was based in KJDEP and did 852
320J - Based in KJDEP, think it perm one of the BPJ services
321G - All the while with 167
322D - All the while with 853
323B/324Z - All the while with 851
325X - Did 171 then it went over to 169

310M - deregistered in late 1997, it was running as AMDEP SP before that
312H - all the while spare in KJ >> AM >> KJ >> WL
314C - did 853 under AM, transferred to WL and dunno whether it was SP or 167
330E/331C/332A - last perm 820/821 after which went to AMDEP SP before laid up
333Y after going back to AM all the way did 980 until deregistered
I can remember 334U and 335S did 160, then went over to WLDEP 181/961. Last went back AMDEP and perm 853 before it was deregistered.

504X that time was with either 167 or 171. Went into perm 965 replace 960L that got depot transferred.
