  Wonder whether Townlink services currently served by some MKIIIs would get Citaros soon. Hoping that 293 will get it since it's one of the first non-core services in Tampines to get the KUBs last time. Anyway, some KUBs seem to have disappeared from the 293 fleet and replaced by the old MKIIIs instead.

  Just took 6007T on 53 at 4:30 just now. Amazing bus. So quiet and smooth. And cosy too. I totally support the fare hikes if the PTOs promise to buy only MANs and Mercedes Benz vehicles. Maybe Volvo but the quality ain't as good.

  And the reliability of the B10M is unparalleled by any type as far as I know.

  Especially the earlier MKIIs and MKIIIs. Good workhorses.

  You're wrong,All along Mercedes-Benz,Scania,Volvo has been a truly reliable,durable and famou brands.The only setback is how the depot maintain the buses itself.SBS Transit already had WAB Scanias(Wish they could add the K270s),MB Citaros and Volvo B9TL Wrights,Hopefully they will consider at least the B7RLEs in small units(50).Too bad they dun buy the newer Enviro500s.

   

  SMRTB i hope that they maintain Mercedes-Benz,Buy a few MANs and Volvo B9Ls.

  If we compare Scania, Mercedes Benz, and Volvo,

  in terms of reliability and mainteinance issues,

  Volvo ranks first, followed by Merc, and followed by Scania.

  I personally like all 3 brands for what they are.

  Nah, still can't compare with the integral Mercedes for quality and class. Scania and Volvo are both utilitarian, but don't exude classiness.

  given the sbs request for price increase sbs should release all the new buses on the road now and get rid of all the old buses once and for all to save cost. so many new buses in the depot and at C&C what is the delay??????

  Volvo is good. I like the B10BLE, B9TL and  B10TL smoothness and B10M stability and more seats.
