  can't the citaros just roll into 163 and replace the two MKIII asap? i love the MKIII frankly speaking but NOT on 163. same goes for 156, 80 and all fellow svc with KUB

  I agree with u, I also hope to see the 2 MK3s out once their ads expired. Ever since service 163 started getting DDs, I have always look forward to see DDs replacing the 2 MK3s.

  Anyway, anyone noticed C&C dosent seem to have so much citaros parked there anymore as compared to before where the whole place is flooded with citaros? It seems the deliveries have paused for awhile for now.

  I feel that the Citaros seem shorter and less spacious than the K230UBs - anyone feel this way too?

  The gearbox isn't as melodic as the ZFs on the K230UBs too :)

  Yea, Citaros are in fact slightly shorter than 12m.

  And the reason why Citaro doesnt sound as melodic as the KUBs, it's because they are using different models of gearbox, with SBST Citaros using Voith DIWA 854.5 and KUBs using ZF EcoMat 2 6HP502C for Euro 4s and ZF EcoMat 4 6HP504C for the Euro 5s.

  It does feel smaller, strangely. But I like it this way. I dislike the emptiness and acoustics on the KUB. The ZFs on the KUB are not melodic, they are savage and horrible in my opinion. The Citaro is a much better bus in terms of comfort partly because of the fantastically sleek gear changes from the gearbox.

  so far only 42 has cleared e registration process

  meaning to say therotically only 160 & 170 (full route) can use the DM3500. 170X will have to wait.

  Hahahaha.Hopefully the HGDEP MK3s wont get laid up so soon yet..So that they can haunt ppl like 8675B to death.
