This quoted from buses[in]gapore! ad-verbatim. He set down this guideline all bus enthusiasts must follow ![]()
Unless you openly declare that whatever Mark Chua aka
buses[in]gapore! said is wrong all along, otherwise you must
continue to use DBBTM because he condemn the terms "cameo" and
"rare" ![]()

How can that happen for an iconic award-winning EURO V bus? Mark Chua and his 518 kids demand answers from SBS senior mgmt and corpcomms! ![]()
Originally posted by nfshp253:Took 6091 on 109 today and was surprised at the amount of white and sooty emissions from the exhaust. And it’s one of the newest Citaros. I wonder why the Bluetec SCR doesn’t seem to do it’s job. But some earlier Citaros have clean exhausts. Strange. Maybe it’s our horrible Euro I standard diesel.
Let the engines run-in for awhile first. A protective layer of oil could be applied to engine components protect them from corrosion after they are built. The sooty/white emissions might be due to this layer of oil slowly being burnt off.
Anyway, SCR's purpose is not mainly meant to reduce soot. It's to reduce NOx by converting them into CO2. It should do nothing to reduce the amount of soot produced.

eventually as the other Citaros get delievered and registered they'll likely be on the other YCK services too.

NOOOOOO 6061K just lost his rimcaps siaaaaaaa ... ![]()
SBS6000L also no rimcaps.
The entire fleet of SBST might be losing the rimpcaps in the coming months. Photograph them before all is gone.
addon: this is due to observations made in the past that rimguards may not be fitted back on rims.
