I take before 2630U on 88, during its 2 weeks in amdep (it was bndep 39, 39 became amdep service, the bus then went Hougang in exchange for Merc).

and this fucker here does not know how many 88 striders are there then (2008-2009), EVERY TIME I take 88 striders back home back then and i wanted to take CDGE but ALWAYS a strider comes. so, i consider strider to be very common on 88 back then, toghther wif the O405 WA.
And since 88 won't be WAB until TPY int had finished upgrading, why deploy so many WAB on that svc in such an early time?

Cause it's SBS Transit decission, you also can't change.
And we/they don't donate buses
Plus, WAB doesn't have to be 100% fleet filled with WAB bus. That will happen when they have all the buses they have in Singapore certified WAB.

Just took 6035L on 53 today and felt the power of the engine for the first time. BC drove really aggressively and the power that comes at high revs is just sweeeet! And the Voith gearbox sounds fantastic coupled with the turbo whistle! But it's quite weird when the fun suddenly stops and the bus quietens down at 60km/h.
