Will they transfer back the AMDEP KUBs to boost the BNDEP KUB fleet? Now left 5006C only.
there are chance that AMDEP KUBs are send over to BNDEP.. cos BNDEP send over some DDs to AMDEP last sunday...... weird that AMDEP parked lots of their DDs at the laid up corner and yet go intake some more DDs from BNDEP.

What are the DDs that BNDEP sent over to AMDEP? Including the 9661J that you posted earlier?

Then that's only two VO3xs so far from BNDEP to AMDEP.
Still have more i suppose?

I need to reply to this again; i checked 8688P today and the previous 'SV 53' perm stix on the coinbox has been removed. No more other perm stix elsewhere too, similar to what is for 8605D now. So most likely 8688P is really out of 53 already, though it's still on 53 lately. One missing bus in the perm fleet, but no new Citaros to cover (so 8688P had to stay on somehow for now).

guess so.... so maybe keep a lookout for the KUBs? maybe AMDEP is sending LO3x over to SLBP cos SLBP laid up one bunch of VO2x...

Why would AMDEP want to send over LO3X over to SL to replace VO2X? I'm sure SL will get HG or BB to transfer some VO3X over instead, and probably they kick out some KUB over to BBDEP?
SBS 9239X on 249 today. Transferred to SLBP.

I'm half-agreeing with you on this. If SL could get more new Wrights in the near weeks to replace permers on services laden with LO3xs, then probably they will have enough LO3xs in its depot now to replace those outgoing VO2x. But if there's not enough Wrights, then they might have to resort to getting the VO3xs instead.
IMHO, AM might not send more LO3x over, since that is the only DD type they have in the SP fleet now, unless they get new Wrights in the next few weeks too.
Although the KUBs from SLBP to BBDEP thing is more likely going to be more common with the number of BB feeder services going WAB this week. They have 9 SP KUBs now, but the min they need is 10. And i doubt any of the depots would want to survive with only one lone KUB in its SP fleet anyway later.

Oh ya, true. Ignore the last part.
But then, i think AM may send over some KUB to BN, since there's 5006C as spare now iirc. But just see over the next few days.

It's almost definite that AM will send their SP KUBs over to BN, unless there's new Citaros for BN. As i said in my previous post, it is very unlikely that any of the depots want to survive with only 1 SP KUB in its fleet (excluding the current HGDEP, which has a whole lot of Citaros to cameo around). 5006C's the only SP KUB now in BN, since 8189M is likely to go in 292. It's just which AM KUB comes over. ![]()

why must the other depots send over VO3x? Cant AMDEP take in more wrights and then send LO3x over? it is the same logic mah...
why HGDEP have to transfer just only VO3 batch 2 and 3 to SLBP instead of the batch 1 ?![]()

almost the same reason why svc 170 getting most of the DM 3500..
from years of depot transfer you will notice inter-district depot transfer is usually not encouraged unless there is a resource constraint on either side that the other side has excess of.Originally posted by lemon1974:why must the other depots send over VO3x? Still seen on Service 35 today. SBS630H as well.

Because of longevity of the fleet. If they want to transfer buses, they would probably transfer the buses that have a longer lifespan to other depots.
