SBS9532Z with refurbished air-con ducts

Lifespan of this bus has already been extended for 2 years. Furthermore, refurbishment of DDs is not the factor for deciding lifespan extensions of DDs.
Yah, take for example 9519M, even though it has refurbished air-con ducts with TVM speakers removed & sealed, it is still not extended

But 9519M repainted body! Muz wait till the date than c wether still running anot if running I think most probably extend. Heads up 9519M still on 65 repainted body

Refurbished ducts & maybe repainted liveries isn't an accurate gauge.
But the depots (maybe except SLBP) tend to give those clear-cut extended VO3xs a new coat of paint when nearing their impending lifespan expiry dates from what I observed.
Those not repainted in recent months but yet extended, imo they are the few which managed to scrape through the final scrutineering to be extended. 9518R is a very very good example of this..
Vice versa for those repainted recently but not extended; they probably developed some terminal probs within the bus / chassis after the repaint which they might deem it unfeasible to continue running for another few years..
Spotted 9296E (BN 9) in BNDEP's unofficial lay-up area parked 2 lots away from 9510L (which was de-reg recently..) as of today.
9296E's official lifespan expiry is 28 Jun 2014, but from the looks of it, guess they took the bus off the roads alr 1 month before it's last day. ![]()

HAHA yeah. Why?

Because your fav bus (SBS9631X...) is 17 perm, which would also happen to be your fav service... ![]()

Some update for 9528L:
8357U (BN SP) is on 9528L's timing for the past week on Weekdays. Last week 8416H replaced 9528L's timings.
So Sv 81 no fixed replacement yet for 9528L. Cheers.
I heard today 9296E still running

I really doubted that 9296E has been out on the roads for at least one day sometime after it seemed to be laid up...

As I had said before somewhere, we will wait until a few weeks before its de-registration date...
