Or it could be here that they're extending both the 20 Jul & 27 Jul (& possibly 06 Aug too) batches together, which might explain why they're dragging for so long. Because I'm almost certain that there's at least 1 VO3x in the 06 Aug that will be extended..
I have indicated that there is a possibility that they might be gone case...think by 21st July the answer will be revealed.

I think this time rd 9564G Cfm extend coz repainted n 9565D not repainted. I guess 9568X may 50% de reg. 9573E Cfm deregister coz last time took condition no good n my posibility on 9579P could be deregister

9573E definitely gone case. Like I mentioned before, there's a hole in the floor of the lower deck near the rear doors. And doesn't make sense for them to extend that bus too when Sv 81 is just 1 WAB away from reaching the quota for WAB status.

I don't have a photo of that at the moment, since it's covered by the usual carpetting of the VO3xs (ie. you can't see the hole clearly but you can walk & feel).
You board the bus and you'll know already. Walk from the front doors to the rear doors and there's quite an obvious sinking hole in the floorboard near the rear doors.
I doubt they've fixed it so far though..

9598J just got a new coat of paint right? Seems like it had a new repaint recently..

What are your feelings when a bus de-registers? I am both happy and sad. Happy as the non-WAB buses are being eliminated, but sad that we will never see the bus again.

Looks like SBS Transit wants to exercise last minute lifespan extension once again either on or after 6th August...
not only the Volvo Olympians have yet to get their extensions (which I suppose 9571 9572 9574 9575 9576 9577 are the ones), the DM3500s that are due to go on 11th August (the same day as the last three mentioned) are also not yet extended!

From the thread about missing buses, SBS9586T is listed as one of the buses missing lately. Previously SBS9565D was listed back in early July and it was subsequently confirmed not to be extended...
