NGxx3F A24 is a bendy chassis while NLxx3F A22 is a rigid chassis. Please, I want more Citaros for SMRT!

I also want more Citaros for SMRT. But I also want 150 NG363Fs and 150 Citaro Gs for SMRT too once the box bendies had started retiring.

Both A23 and A24 are bendies, but the A24 is slightly longer than the A23 (17980mm vs 18750mm).

I hope SBST will buy more Citaros, since they have already improved the air con system for the next 150 buses. Even much better than SMRT ones now.

SMRT should stop buying bendies from now onwards. Change it to Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 and Enviro500 (3-axles). -

Why SMRT can buy Citaros and SBST can't buy??? What kind of logic is that???SBST has more buses to cater the loads, especially using double deckers. They don't have to worry. And SBST Citaros carries more people than SMRT ones.
If the passenger capacity of Citaros is so small, then SMRT shouldn't even be buying Citaros because they can't fit in overcrowding demands due to their shortage of buses, which instead they should buy more Scania K series or OC500s instead.

SMRT can buy Citaros because they only have 51 of such buses, but SBST have 300 by the end of the year. The issue is not about the capacity. Though I agree with you that SMRT should buy Scania K230UBs, but now the era has changed over the months and everyone's view will change as well. I'm now in a mood of Citaros and MAN bendies for SMRT.

Sorry to spoil the party, but Scania no longer produces the K230UB and MAN no longer produces the NG 313.
In the latest variants, Scania produces the K280UB, K320UB and K360UB rigid buses and MAN produces the NG 323 or NG 363 articulated buses.

Errr... NO.
A23 and A24 are the same, but A23 is an integral product (i.e. chassis & bodywork) whereas A24 is chassis ONLY.

SBST fleet is bigger, so they can have the capacity to get more Citaros. 300 is only a small percentage in their 3000 fleet. So should get more Citaros as well.Well, you can say that is your mood but it is more logical for for SMRT to get more MAN A22s now since MAN bus is their new distributor now. And bendies isn't applicable to our infrastructure and operation changes from now, so will be better that SMRT switches to MAN doublde deckers instead. Double deckers are in long run better for SMRT.

Actually I wouldn't mind getting 1000 Higers, Yutongs, King Longs and watching some folks writh in pain here.
So long as they dont use Cummins engines and they dont explode in my face.....oh and good aircon. I can live with the rest.
