I feel that the DAF Alexander Sentanas (or what name?
) are the ugliest public bus in Singapore. 2nd ugliest goes to Mercedes Benz Hispanos CACs.3rd is SBS9889U.

TIBs buses are mostly bought from the past mah, that's why you have more ugly buses than those nice nice one(Volgren).

Scania L113 Striders are actually better looking than the DAFs and Hispano O405s.

Ppl tell u South Buona Vista bendy bus can enter, say can enter w/o realising it ran foul w/ the law...The protruded wind screen is likely a design feature than a flaw... No one would want any sharp edge window or fitting in reality. It's not just over looks...

Surprisingly the DAF give less problem than Lances and L113s,Just ask the technician in KJ.Thats why SMRT should at least buy the VDL SLF120.255 using DAF PR 9.2L EEV with 250hp/1050nm.

I have no particular liking for both types.
The only reason if I ever take them is because I need to, or I decided that I'm tired of the new buses and check out the poorer condition cousins.

Yo, retard.That customised body is a choice that TIBS made in the 1990s. Not all DAFs comes with this design. If SMRT is to get a DAF engined DD aka VDL bus, they can use other kinds of customised bus body.

notice a Volvo MK 3 bus parking inside HGDEP? Its parked just behind the fence, on the right of the main entrance/exit of the depot. Another is TIB366C being left inside GLDEP. I'm sad to see it in such a sorry state. The rear windows are broken, signal lights and windscreen wipers dislodged.

Like I say, ppl tell you things that's a comment you believe. Real design flaw is if DAF front screen has sharp edges... Using fluid mechanics principle. By then front screen may crack pretty easily at continual higher speed on expressway. Dunno anything, cannot think and take all these comments as correct. Tsk.
