  SBS really so desperate to scrap this bus? Got EDS somemore and it can take in quite a number of pax. Hope that it can be sold away like SBS998Y and SBS999U.

  No point keeping this bus for the sake of just 10 pax.In SG everything must be practical unlike Europe or Australia where this type of buses intercity.10 mins city then 20 mins long roads

  The popularity of Dennis Lance 245 has fallen drastically.

  3 months ago, many services such as 167, 852, 855 and 985 no longer has permanent Dennis Lances operating (Even if they were to operate on these service, they are usually SP)

  A lot of them are now AMDEP SP (All the Lances are at AMDEP).

  Dominating these Lances now is Service 853, which so far continues to occupy more than 3/4 of the current 853 fleet, and haven't really been changed since (other than the deregistered Nissan diesel being replaced by 1 OC500LE)

  980 is the service with the second largest number of Lances of only 5, some of the former 980 Lances are laid up but not replaced by other Lances anymore, but instead replace by 2 OC500LEs (the other OC is used to replace TIB661A even though I dunno why).

  So far TIB908P (Former AMDEP 167) and TIB928G (Former AMDEP SP/961) has been deregistered early due to unknown reasons.

  What is your view about these lances, which is believed to be deregistered in the late 2015 (though rumoured to be earlier)?

  Did you know? TIB919H has a slightly different rear window! It is green when viewed from outside, unlike the original black which is observed for the other lances.

  It's because we Asians got stereotype thinking.In SG generally ppl say Toyota the best hence the higher resale price.They got this thinking passing to next gen even though Toyota ain't invisible nowadays.For trucks n buses ppl think MB,Volvos Scanias are the best.Imagine with sub standard smrt maintenance the DAF engine still going strong

  Dominating the play now, WLDEP has been receiving the greatest number of MAN NL323F buses so far!

  Although AMDEP doesn't have any MAN buses at all, it's OCs and Citaros have been a very welcoming sight by the Singaporeans bus fans!

  Hopefully, KJDEP, which has the least number of WABs, can continue to catch up with the other 2 depots!

  I think trend currently is Amdep most Citeroks,most OCs Kjdep fair OCs,A few MANs and little bit of Citeroks while Wldep most MANs less OCs and less Citeroks

  I like taking UMW Dennis Lance buses because I like its acceleration, its speed and its engine sound which is full of energy! I'd miss this model.

  Permanent buses that used to be on 307 are TIB716B, TIB717Z, TIB718X, TIB719T (2001) TIB759C, TIB760Y, TIB764L, TIB771R, TIB774H, TIB791H, TIB792E, TIB793C, TIB796U, TIB797S (2002-2008 ) *When it became intratown. Hence the increase in the number of rigids SMB39A, SMB40U, SMB41S, SMB42P, SMB43L, SMB60L, SMB88H (2008-2011) SMB210X, SMB211T, SMB212R, SMB213M, SMB214K, SMB215H, SMB216E, SMB217C (2011- Current) 307 is the first bus SMRT service to get a full MANA22 fleet. It remains the only bus service to have all its buses Elvis Presley.

  Sorry lah, grammar error. What I mean is that the lances continue to occupy more than 3/4 of the current 853 fleet, and haven't really been changed since.

  Possibly, though I think KJDEP can consider importing more WABs.

  Citaros were bought with BSEP funding not Wrights!! SBS Citaros at C&C got A4 sized paper attached to windscreen reads "LTA (BSEP) Bus, Not For Service, Do Not Dirty the bus"!!! That means SMRT likely to get Citaros and Citaro Gs from BSEP funding!!

  See!! I told you all along SBS and SMRT will get 800 Citaros and Citaro Gs with BSEP money u all so stupid u don't believe now it's true!!!!!!!
