Did you know.. that the most unique Jurong Industrial Service (JIS) in Boon Lay is Service 246? Although it is classified as a "JIS", this service mostly plies through Taman Jurong & Jurong West estates instead of industrial places in Boon Lay. It acts like a feeder bus instead. This is one of the few surviving "feeder" services in Singapore that residents could enjoy boarding a Non-Airconditioned (NAC) bus to and from home.

Did you know.. that this particular bus (Leyland Olympian), registered as "SBS9168S" was the last ever Leyland Olympian bus chassis built in the world? It might just look like an another ordinary bus to the public, but it hides the most valuable history to the minorities that have been working in Leyland Co. Ltd in Britain. The company had been closed down in year 1993. It currently operates on Service 154, that operates from Eunos - Boon Lay.

Did you know... that services 111 & 100 terminating at Ghim Moh Bus Terminal would have to do a 3-point turn near a carpark before ending its service? This terminal also retains its old bus stop sign.

Did you know.. that Chinatown Direct Bus Services CT8 & CT18 are the only two daily bus services that ply on the tunnel sectors of CTE (Central Expressway)?

Service 91 is the only service that loops at a bus depot (Ayer Rajah Bus Park - ARBP) at a daily basis. This service used to ply at a carpark, and had to bypass 2 carpark gantries; but that sector was closed earlier this year.

Not quite precise.
What is Leyland Co. Ltd?
The Leyland marque still lives on actually. Ashok Leyland is a good example.
British Leyland name was already dead since 1986.
Get your facts right la....

if you really want to do these posters and educate the general public in the long term, do brush up on your language.

When svc 25 was first introduced circa 1983, it ran parallel with svc 24 via AMK Aves 8/1, Lor Chuan, Boundary Rd, Upp Paya Lebar Rd, Paya Lebar Rd, Sims Ave (Changi Rd in return direction to AMK), Sims Ave East, New Upp Changi Rd and terminating at Bedok Int
Circa 1986 the service was amended to ply AMK Ave 3, Hougang Aves 2/3, Eunos Link and Jln Eunos before linking up to Sims Ave East towards Bedok Interchange, which is the route till present day.
Done by me!Leave comments please.
language needs some brushing.
Last time 501, 502, 511,512 and 520 go in the CTE tunnel what..
246 is a Industrial service..
I think svc902's distance is shorter than Svc284 bah? And I think Svc 902 can also be counted as feeder(since sgwiki say so~~)
now HGDEP only left SVC 85 still without kub or citaro cameo b4 !![]()

SBS Transit's Bus Service 284 holds the shortest bus feeder route in Singapore. This bus service only serves a total of 3 bus stops (excluding interchange), which is within walking distance from the bus interchange/MRT station in Clementi.By Singapore Buses:http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.381329595255365.97753.231928066862186&type=3
240, 241, 242, 243, 246 are not JIS services. They are considered feeders.

You disseminated the information but refused to stand by it.
Where's your ethics?

Ashok Leyland is not a English company it is a-nei company http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashok_Leyland, like land rover, jaguar and astin matin which owned by India. Leyland from England die long ago. Leyland is taken over Volvo, that why you see volvo olympian after Leyland olympain. Ashok is from India not England. oh before i forget Volvo Cars was then sold to China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in 2010. AB Volvo is a Swedish manufacturer of trucks, buses and construction equipment that where the SBST new DD come from by the way.

Don't think you quite understood what I meant.
But its ok.
When I was younger I didn't quite get the concept of "equity participation".
Besides.
Please go look up the dictionary under "marque"
You too, need to get your facts right.
Leyland Motors was not bought out by Volvo.
The bus-making production line was.
Don't act clever and leave your flanks open to broad-side attacks.
It's very entertaining for me.![]()
