Torque play an important part of quick acceleration and good mid range speed not horsepower.More horsepower is for mid range and top speed only.
Bus A is 9000cc 225hp@1900rpm and torque of 1250nm@1100rpm

Basically bus A can outrun bus B from acceleration 0-30 kmh and 31-40km(mid range) but ran out of steam during speed over 55kmh while bus B peak power is from 30kmh and above.Power to weight also play a part.Thats why coaches and intercity buses have high horsepower compared to citybuses.
Bus C probably have 330hp/1500nm 10000cc 19000kg but bus D only have 270hp/1200nm 17000kg 9000cc but still bus D have the acceleration edge over bus C

Sorry to say~~ The page is worthless. It's more of snapping buses/sharing those photo of buses, not even much feature of it~
But overall, I don't even see a reason to start a bus page

ezlink card readers can be repaired with cable ties if fall out. the driver will never bring cable ties around so it must be mechanic. if I were a driver, I wouldn't give a f**k about a reader falling out even if I had a zillion f**ks to give.

Few days late...Service 85 is now 7 years old!
New Service 85 From Punggol / Sengkang To Yishun
The new year will usher in a new bus service for residents of Punggol and Sengkang.
From Sunday, 1 January 2006, SBS Transit Service 85 will be introduced to operate from Punggol / Sengkang to Yishun via Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Seletar Expressway (SLE).
The new service will provide residents of Punggol and Sengkang with links to Yishun as well as additional link between the Punggol and Sengkang neighbourhoods.
"This new service will give Punggol and Sengkang residents a convenient and faster link to Yishun as it will ply the expressways. We believe this will be welcome news for residents in these three neighbouring towns," said Mr Ong Boon Leong, Executive Director, SBS Transit.
Service 85, will operate from Punggol Bus Interchange, via Punggol Central, Punggol East, Sengkang East Drive, Sengkang East Way, Rivervale Drive, Compassvale Drive, Sengkang East Road, TPE, SLE, Lentor Avenue, Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Bus Interchange.
The daily operating hours of the new service are from 6.00am to 11.30pm.Please see the attached poster for more details. SBS Transit service updates are also available on our websites at www.sbstransit.com.sg. -

A lot~~ But this(reader) case cannot be 100% sure that SMRT used cable ties to repair. It might be done by SLs to secure it temporary(when it dropped out during half way journey)~
Some of our dear SBST buses also used cable tie, same goes to cabs :x Seems like cable tie is taught during their early education as a emergency tools?
